Interesting to see that out of the top 20 long running vehicles, 10 are Toyotas.

It does seem dubious, do most Ford owners lie?

Well it's only a 200,000 club, that's where the f150 dies and the Tundra lives on.

Yeah. That probably explains the F150. Owners having more money than sense. When I had my Prius, I put 150k miles on it and had to replace the water pump @ $97.00. Everything else was car payments, insurance, gas and oil changes.

Sheer volume? F150 is #1 selling vehicle, so depending on sample size, it's probable that more fords where in the survey and thus moving em higher in the ranking.

Never understood why owners of 1 truck brand always try to piss on other trucks... I gave my 2000 f-150 to my dad at 80k or so, never had a single problem. He's still driving that 17 year old truck today and it's never had an issue, runs great still and hasn't had anything but scheduled maintenance done. If they were bad trucks they wouldn't sell so many of them; and if the double cab on the f150 was as spacious as the tundra, hell I'd be driving one right now.

When I sold my F150 in June after 16yrs and 204,000mi the only thing I had ever done to it was tires, brakes, and routine maintenance. It still ran great.
