Tundra head rest question

Is there a Tundra head rest maybe from a Limited or Platinum that tilts back? My SR5 does not move and i think its uncomfortable.

Wait for a 3rd Gen guy to chime in, but my 2G Platinum headrest does not tilt back.

 

Mine pushes my head too far forward, I've just spun it around for the time being but would like to hear of a solution as well.

 

My limited does not adjust. The head forward bugged my wife so much I switched a rear headrest with the passenger side.

 

I've heard of doing this, but have also heard suggestions that it made no difference. I wonder if or how the CM and DC rear headrests are different.

 

Mine is a CM. The rear headrest is more "flat" than the front. For my wife it made a difference. I had the same issue and used the same solution in my Titan. In my Gen 1 Tundra I reversed the passenger headrest to fix her "head forward" position.

 

It goes up and down but I haven't really messed with it much since I got the truck. I'll have to look at it closer tonight.

Back when i had my 98 Tacoma, i bought ratcheting headrests from a higher model. Thats why i thought for sure that ratcheting headrests would be available for the Tundra.

 

I just reversed my headrest and i find it to be a lot more comfortable and i also think it looks better. Could be better formed instead of just flat but oh well.

 

I've done the same, but I suspect that in that position, it doesn't offer near the whiplash protection.
