I was cleaning out a closet the other day and saw that I still had my old 2011 Silverado / Sierra, 7 volume, maintenance manual set and some owners manuals that I acquired off of eBay (2011 Silverado, 2005 Silverado and 2009 Corvette) when I was looking for a case for my 2014 Silverado owners manuals since they give you a plastic bag now. Anyway, I listed the manuals on eBay and then thought I would list them on GM-Trucks.com. Of course, I had to have a little entertainment...they are still bit$$ing (complaining) about the HD radios that don't pick up FM and the 'Chevy Shakes' that GM won't or can't fix. Nothing has changed except the newer models do all have newer 'technology' radios that still don't work well...it was entertaining but painful reading

Yes it was my daily driver, def was stupid especially in the winter, always thought it pushed me because the idle was elevated. Rust was a major issue, after one year ownership. GM would not stand behind their product.

What a crock of shit. They wouldn't cover that? Wow. I looked at the Chevy brand but went with the GMC due to the fender flares so rock chips don't eat up the wheel well. I would have been pissed as well.

Yep, diesels are not Daily drivers, and the people that do pay dearly (as you unfortunately found out...so did I...twice). When people on here even mention a diesel I just shake my head and laugh. I have 12577 miles on mine, and over 9500 of those are towing or working. The rest are long trips or in the mountains/snow. My truck will be a year old in Oct. I tow a lot, and the people that do usually don't have a lot of issues with the emissions or common rail fuel systems.

You probably already know this, but you purchased the right truck for you, and there will be little to no issues for a longggggg time.

The duramax pulled like crazy. My wife's 15 denali has already had a torque converter replaced when it had 11k on it.

I just spent several of the last few months test driving F150s and Silverados. Never considered a Tundra. I sent emails to about 12 dealerships telling them exactly what I was looking for. The 1st dealer to get back to me had the Tundra I just bought. It simply felt tougher. I felt like I was in a Taurus/Malibu when in the F150/Silverado. In the Tundra, it felt like a truck.

If the Sequoia had been updated, she would have bought one. The 6.2 is awesome while its running.
