I have a 2004 Tundra Double Cab that sits out in the Texas sun all the time. It is Super White and no clear coat. The paint will get dull however, it comes right back with a light polish and wax.
I have had to do this probably every 2 years after the first 5 years. For being almost 20 years old it still looks good. Go figure.

The old single stage paints last a very long time. Whites, beiges, had very stable pigments, that were almost immune to sunlight. Base clears give a shinier, deeper look, but sacrifice longevity.
However, most modern vehicle paint outlasts the first term of ownership, so the OEM’s don’t worry about it too much.
