Just installed a Pro style grill with the amber marker lights and light bar.

Where do you tie in the light harness in the fuse box to only allow the amber lights to come in when the headlights or marker lights come on.

I also want to tie in the light at to come on with the headlights in low beam and go off when the high beams are on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

    Jim

    Welcome from NY.

If it's anything like the previous generation you add a fuse tap to the headlight fuse.

Tie amber lights to low beam or tail light add a fuse. Might have to diy the harness for that or mentioned above method

you want the light bar to come on with low beams and off you high beams?

Yes tried the search. Everything I found so far points to using the fuse adapter tied to a fuse that is only on with ignition on. Don’t want the lights on all of the time just on in auto mode.

yes light bar in only when the low beams are on just like the driving lights. Isn’t that normal the rule of thumb just like the fog/driving lights?
