Hey everyone! Obviously I'm new and obviously I've been browsing here for a while. You guys have helped me trouble shoot a lot of small shit on my truck and have been a huge help. But I finally needed to make an account to ask a question because I am at my wits end.

My 2008 Tundra has all the lights on the dash. 4LO blinking, check engine, vsc off, etc. All of it. I disconnected the battery to clear the code after installing a new thermostat and a coolant flush like the guys at my local autoparts store/mechanic chop suggested, however the lights have come back. However it runs mechanically just fine. All gauges read normal, no over heating, and the transfer case for the 4wd will shift in and out 4hi just fine.

I haven't been able to figure this out on my own. Any ideas?

Have you been off road lately? You may have damaged a wheel sensor for ABS or ripped/damaged a wire for it.

I have not been. This truck has turned into a high way queen since my kid was born. However, I will check next time, just in case.

The only code that the computer is spitting is "insufficient coolant temp" or something in that nature. I will have to borrow my buddy's scanner again to get the actual code for you guys.

The orientation of the thermostat needs to be correct. Did you haphazardly just stick it in there?

Update. I went for a drive this morning and all of those warning lights disappeared and haven't come back. Is that maybe the ecu recognizing that the issue was actually fixed? Or am I kind of boned and it might actually be a bigger problem?

A weak battery can cause similar symptoms. Also worn alternator brushes. Also a wheel sensor. If your light display stopped and everything seems to be working and no CEL, I would pull any codes and also go to one of the flaps for a battery and alternator test. If no codes and everything checks good, drive on.
