The other threads got me curious on what people are doing with their routine maintenance. Below is the maintenance I do myself on Pluto, who is currently at 58k on the odometer..

    Every 2,500 miles

Check fluids: windshield, steering, brakes, coolant.
Check & lube suspension (use Tri-Flow): UCA, LCA, spindle, tie rod, leaf springs, shackles

    Every 5,000 miles

    Tire rotation
Oil change (Royal Purple 5w-30), oil filter change (TRD oil filter), and engine cleaner (Sea Foam in gas tank)
    Lubricate driveshaft assembly (Royal Purple)
Power steering fluid drain/fill (Toyota ATF)

    Every 10,000 miles

    Replace cabin filter
Clean intake filter (K&N cleaner) and MAF sensor (CRC spray)

    Every 15,000 miles

    Differentials & transfer case (Mobile 1 75w-90)

I pretty much stick to Toyota recommended PM. I was lucky...I have all maintenance records from birth on my 07. All recorded on "My Tundra owners" website. Lucky me.

To be honest, you have all the reason in the world to conduct every single tiny preventative maintenance to your rig, it's pretty much a fucking tank without the milspec number.

I think you're not lubricating the exhaust enough

Yes there is some maintenance occasionally. A good wash and buff out per WarEagle specifications......I should know...I'm his great uncle today......

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
Wow you definitely maintain your truck. If you ever plan on selling it, the person who purchases it will appreciate all the maintenance. If you do not ever sell it then you will appreciate it in 10+ years from now.

At first glance I was thinking the maintenance was too excessive but after reflecting on the fact the you off-road all the time, it makes sense to keep the fluids you mentioned fresh.

The main thing is.. Log on to My Toyota Owners site. Put in your VIN#. You may be pleasantly surprised. Maybe the previous owner/dealer put in info. If no info.......START new info. Can't hurt.

I did not know that this existed. I will have to look into it. I currently keep very detailed info on the maintenance I have performed so far, so it will be nice to be able to transfer the info over.

You should see him on instagtam... he uses his truck for every thing it is worth. The new owner better be ok with body imperfections lol

Hah, better safe than sorry, especially to avoid any stupid breakdowns when I'm way off the grid. Also, for how much I abuse my truck offroad and the type of offroading I do, the maintenance is kind of warranted.

That might change in 1-2 years if my girlfriend has her way, haha. I just love working on my truck.

I plan on handing this truck down to my first child ..but that's a strong maybe, haha.
