Subject says it all... I'm looking to retire a 2009 TRD Off Road Tacoma that I have had since new and pick up a 2023 Tundra due to increased towing needs. The Tundra has some shortcomings that I will need to know I can handle through aftermarket add-ons before dropping the money on it.

1.) For example, I use front tow hooks regularly, and the '23 Tundra doesn't have them.
2.) I use a cap/topper regularly for hauling sensitive cargo through bad weather and for camping and that's always something that is aftermarket only.
3.) I have benefited from in-channel/non stick-on WeatherTech window rain guards and would like those for the new Tundra.
4.) I would like an inverter that is much more than stock 400W. Something that can run an air compressor would be better, because many work sites greatly benefit from air tools.

Do any of you know of some threads that address these issues or know of an upcoming model that addresses any of this stock? I'd like to hear from people that have real life experience with the products.

For example, I have yet to see a video or thread from someone that has used the AFE front tow hooks on a truck that was actually stuck and still had the OEM bumper and active air dam. The manufacturer uses an aftermarket bumper, no air dam, and the truck wasn't actually stuck, so I have no evidence to suggest that the products are strong and/or provide clearance when a strap under tension is being used.

Any thoughts or links to threads would be greatly appreciated. I'd be more likely to buy a new Tundra if I knew I could make some adjustments like these. Thanks in advance.

I knew about the waste gate issue, but I had read that it was maybe resolved already; any other issues?
