    Hello Tundra Family,

My name is Thomas McKee, and I am a high school special needs teacher. Last year I bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra Crew Max, and am extremely happy with my purchase. I currently have standard dual stereo, and am looking to upgrade to a digital media stereo. They aren't necessarily a plug-n-play fitting, and was wondering if there is an after market fascia that I could buy to make the new upgrade look custom and not look like a high schooler jack install. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the club allowance.

    Thomas

Hi Thomas, Welcome to the Forum! This is what I bought from Crutchfield when installing an aftermarket JVC head unit in my wife's 2011 Sequoia. It should work for your 08 Tundra as well. I highly recommend buying car audio from Crutchfield, especially their Ready Harnesses Service for around $25. They'll send your head unit already wired to the factory wiring harness/adapter. Saves a lot of time during install.

Also, a big Thank You for your chosen profession as a SPED Teacher! I have a special needs son in middle school and am grateful for the efforts of his teachers and therapist!

Welcome from Pennsylvania. Question for you, my future daughter-in-law just graduated as a special needs teacher K-4 and I heard the phrase SPED teacher used by others and it made me cringe, just wondering amongst the teacher world is that acceptable or is it considered derogatory? Educating myself here, not judging. Anyway congrats to you on your career choice, teachers are not appreciated out there.
