A lot of weight on that tailgate. Must have been nerve racking. I'd love to have the space and money for that jointer. I just have the Ridgid 6".

To pull it up into the bed, I have the tie-down D-rings I installed in the bed bolts. I looped a strap through the back two with the hook centered between and attached the come-along to that. Then the tow strap doubled up around the jointer and started one click at a time.

I've had this thing for about 15 years and used it so seldom that it was just taking up space in my basement. The guy that just bought it (about 10 minutes ago) is building his dream woodshop about 7 miles from me, so it's going to a good home.
As for the weight - I started out with a Harbor Freight solid aluminum deck 1200lb ramp and could see that the pressure of the small wheels was gonna be a nightmare, so I had the scrap piece of 3/4" plywood that I laid on top of the ramp and that was perfect for distributing the weight of the wheels as it moved up the ramp and over the tailgate. The jointer is about 300lbs...I'm a solid 215# and have had myself and another person on the tailgate without ever thinking twice, so I wasn't concerned.

With my typical perfect timing, I decided to take advantage of being at slow station today to wash said Tundra after a week of rain, just in time for it to probably rain again tonight. And then the lady calls and “suggests” maybe driving out on the beach tomorrow.

Bought and used some molle!

Gonna put a sock over my shotgun barrel when I travel to and from hunting or the shooting or clay ranges, since it’s too close to the headliner for my liking.

I know.....:). The days of shotguns being seen or mounted in the back window on a rack have been gone for a long time lol. It was very common in SC back in the 80's lol. I'm originally from there.

Retrax. Ready lift. Just bought 3 weeks ago! Looking to add a rack system and winch bumper, then move from there.
Installed my C4 bumper and wired up all the @Baja Designs lights and winch! Still have to figure out the additional support brackets c4 provides as the spacer for the trd skid doesn’t allow me to install it.

Sure thing Casey! The visor panels are polymer plastic and can bend a good bit if you over-tighten, but sturdy enough for light stuff (which I doubt anyone would put anything too heavy on a visor). The panels are not centered on the visors because I wanted to retain function of my visor mirrors (if centered, you can’t open the mirror). The seat panels are aluminum; a tad bendy but better than a fabric molle panel I tried first, which rolled over on the edges when I started adding modules. The “upgraded” model supposedly has smoother edges, but I did sand down a couple of sharp edges, and for added safety, I adhered rubber on all corners. Picked up a sunglass case, Warn bag for my wireless winch controller, cable, and batteries, various pouches (which I put tire plug tools and Gluetread in), and a decent axe/multipurpose tool (had to sharpen as it was dull AF:rofl:).

Gives us more storage options. You can of course buy bigger molle bags. Also, I’m about 6’, and when sitting in the back seat, with the panels all loaded up, still about 4” clearance to my knees with the front seats all the way back. One thing to keep in mind, if you’re going to use it for mounting a gun, the buttstock hooks are only a few inches off the floor, so I’ll have to tell rear passengers to “watch their step”.
