    Working on it :-)
Sorry to hear that. They are with use for such a short period of time. Ours is Rikka and she is our 3rd Akita. Good luck in your search.

Nutsert the top grill where the 4 screws are. That plastic is crap. I take my grill off often made sense to nutsert it.

The lens seals very well no issues there. If you’re looking at the gasket from the back of the light i added rtv on both sides of the gasket. Then around the nutserts. After I reinstalled the light I then added rtv the perimeter of the light to the body. Let me know if you need me to run out and snag a pic

I'm going to do that myself. I bought a tool from Amazon that I used to mount the Badland jack mount.

Heat shrink those clamps on the resi. Helps not scratch them. Even though they get beat up but one less area to worry about

Thank you. Yes we have had a few Akita’s. They are great companions. She seems happier to have another dog with her.

What kind of heat shrink did you use? Assume it's not just regular electrical heat shrink.

5w30 for the summer. Local Autozone had it the cheapest, delivered the same day.

Looked at the short Fumoto valve that survived a few offroad sessions and decided to leave it. A copper solid core wire around the lever's notch works much better in keeping the lever in place than the stock plastic clip that I lost after the very first snow driving.
