Gotcha. The push button start that you have is a different dash setup on the right side. What about the lower portion of your dash in front of the shifter?

I took a side photo ‍♂️ but I know in front of the shifter it’s cargo area

This is a great thread with some excellent info and tips. It's helped me narrow down my choices to the following three front bumpers, each of which cost roughly the same, give or take a few:

    1. DeMello Baja Hoop Front Winch Bumper. It looks like it's built really well with lots of interior gusseting. Shipping is about $350 to my zip according to their website. I met Jason 15-20 years or so ago at one of the Texas Toyota Jamborees, and I've seen his work before on other Tacomas and have been impressed. No idea on lead times, but I may have missed it on their site. Powdercoating is $250, same as CBI.

    https://www.demello-offroad.com/tundra-baja-hoop-front-winch-bumper-2014-2021-copy

    2. CBI Offroad Baja Front Bumper. Another one that looks very well built, and also seems to be very popular on this forum. Shipping is $375, a bit more than DeMello. Lead times are supposedly 10 weeks according to their website, but I understand lead times on a bunch of stuff all over the world in every industry have been crazy.

    https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/tundra-baja-front-bumper-2014-2020-2/

    3. C4 Fabrication Overland Series Front Bumper. It also looks well built. No powder coating available, but I've done my share of rattle-canning and don't mind doing the work on this one. Same lead time as CBI according to their website. Probably the biggest incentive for choosing this one is that they offer free shipping in contrast to the other two. Perfectly understandable shipping would be costly for something relatively large and heavy, but that's still $350-375 saved if I go with C4. Then again, I'm a big believer in the saying that nothing's free, which makes me think C4's cost has shipping already built-in, possibly making it a bumper of lesser quality than the other two? I don't know, and it may be that their profit margin is simply less or they've mastered better production efficiency. Who knows? But I haven't found any complaints on their build quality while searching online. So from a cost perspective, this one seems to be a better deal assuming build quality is on part with DeMello and CBI.

    https://c4fabrication.com/collections/tundra-2014/products/tundra-overland-series-front-bumper-2014

    (4. ARB) One other bumper I may also consider is the ARB bumper. It's not on my top 3, though, mainly because the cost is so much higher. But it appears to be the only one that's air bag compliant. I had an ARB on an old 2003 Tacoma, and that bumper was built like a tank. It also looked good on the Tacoma, but I'm not sure how it would look on a Tundra. The photos I've seen so far haven't really convinced me, but it may be one of those things where it looks better in person, at least to me. I would guess the ARB for a Tundra would likely weigh way more than the above three bumpers, which is another reason it's not on my top 3. I'd like to keep the weight down, but the airbag compatibility and added corner protection may make me reconsider. If anyone has any insight on that, I'm happy to hear it.

Anyone have anything to add or info I may have missed that I should consider when trying to decide which one to get?

I looked at each of these and landed on Demello due to being a bit lighter - it’s something close to half what the ARB weighs.

Wow, half the weight is significant in itself, and even more so if you add a winch. Was there anything else about the DeMello that made you go with it over the C4 or the CBI bumpers? I don't remember seeing a weight measure for either one, although I may have missed it somewhere, but was the DeMello also lighter than either of those two, or was there something else about the DeMello that swayed you over the C4 and CBI?

My recollection is about 50lbs lighter than C4 (I believe it was 175ish) and I don’t think I could ever find a weight for CBI. It’s possible I’m mixing those up.

Agree on considering the weight especially when adding a winch - I went with a 10k lb SuperWinch by Westin because it’s about 20-30 lbs lighter than the competition. 64lbs for the winch iirc.

I know Jason has been working on Tundras for the last 15-20 years and felt his knowledge, longevity and reputation for quality were a safe bet. We had trouble sourcing the winch from the manufacturer and he personally tracked one down from another vendor and got it shipped to my door so I could put my truck together in time for Tundras to Sedona. Similar to my experiences with @dirtydeeds - if you ever have a question or problem you can actually speak to the owner on the phone and get the answer you need which adds a ton of value imo.

Retrax. Ready lift. Just bought 3 weeks ago! Looking to add a rack system and winch bumper, then move from there.
I’ve got a C4 overland bumper I’m about to mount on my 2021 trd pro that has a 2” ready lift kit, which has skid plate spacers. I’m concerned the additional support brzcketa won’t reach due to the drop in the skid plate. Does anyone here with a TRD pro with a C4 bumper have a skid plate spacer and it still mount fine, or how did you resolve? Thanks!

I ordered the Rough Country rear bumper for $800 as a compromise between $600 Amazon China bumpers and $1400 professional-grade bumpers. The gap may be annoying, but I like the other features.

Will be budgeting for the Ironman front bumper next. They had an awesome 4th of July sale that was $260 savings, and it was tempting, but my CC was smoking already.

I just got my CBI Baja bumper delivered. Now I need to paint it and find some lights to go inside. Any recommendations on lights and/or painting?

I have successfully painted the sliders earlier this year using the rustoleum stuff. Took several days but worked pretty good. I was thinking about doing the same with a bumper, but may be there are better options? Should I take it instead to some place that does powder coating?

+1 for @memario1214 for lighting. Powedercoating will work well if it's done correctly. I have my bumpers and flares Line-X'ed. That stuff is very durable.

Anyone have issues with c4 or Truck Brigade my bumper was done on the 4th and I can’t get an answer from c4 or brigade on shipping or even a update at this point. Pretty disappointed the lead time itself is a joke now I’m past that and still don’t have any answers.

I ordered my C4 bumper directly from them. Lead time was almost spot on, might be a week early if I recalled and they sent out update notification as the lead time were getting close, so no issues with C4 from.

I don't know anything about Truck Brigade never bought anything from them.

Like Legend33, I also recently got my bumper from C4 after ordering directly from them. It came about a week or two earlier than their posted lead time. No issues with C4 on my end. As for Truck Brigade, I have no experience with them. Hope you get it sorted out and get your bumper soon. Mine is very well built.

Well apparently truck brigade decided not to tell me it was done or shipped it’s been at the freight for over a week, and weird they made me give my home address charged for shipping then go to a company and I get stuck driving over an hour to go get it lol
