This post is a few days old but just saw here. What's wrong with yours? Doesn't retract well?

It doesn't retract well. When I take my seatbelt off it mostly lies there and I have to coax it back into the retractor. I've taken the cover off and cleaned everything inside. It's pushing a quarter-million miles and I think the retractor is just worn out.

I don't believe it's a power antenna. I have to pull the fender liner to take a look before I order to confirm what's in there though.

I figured you'd say that. Your seatbelt is likely really dirty. I pressure washed mine and it retracts better than anything else I own. It's like new.

Others (me and Cody?) had our belts re-webbed. Good results.

Good thought, although it's not a lot dirtier (or cleaner) than the passenger side which works as it should. It's certainly gotten more use though and it seems more like the retractor "spring" or whatever the mechanism is that's supposed to pull it tight and back in. I will give the belt a good cleaning though and report back.

Based on age/mileage of ours, that's probably a good idea too.

Safetyrestore is what I used. Not cheap but quick and satisfying.

Would the drivers side drip rail (or both sides), antenna base (that attaches to fender), drivers side screw plug on interior by mirror and rear window still be available?

I asked about the antenna assembly and some other parts earlier as well. Never heard back.

Sorry guys, not sure how i got unfollowed from my own thread.

same scenario with these belts. sorry!
drivers drip rail is gone, door panel is gone along with that cap, and the antenna base got mangled with the removal of the front fenders for my own truck
unfortunately, no rear mud flaps. they were gonzo. sorry!

You'd be surprised how invisibly dirty it is. I'd pull it all out, clamp it at the top so it doesn't retract, then wash the heck out of it, then let it dry (still clamped fully out) overnight and THEN do the silicon spray.

Hey do you have the 4x4 transfer case still? I just need the rear cover, CoPart forklift driver must have been drunk and smashed mine. Put a big ol' hole in it.

No mods besides regular maintance and up keep. Required to carry 200lbs of tools for work.
I am looking for the AC pulley to replace mine along with a new bearing would you happen to have it?

also I need a seat belt buckle my drivers side keeps blinking I have no idea why I figure I’ll just try to replace it.

Yeah, behind the bezel. All this stuff, unplug the connector on the left. I want to reuse it in mine or just pull the broken gears and put it in mine. If you can get the cable for the blend door on the right and it's reusable that would be great too. That cable disconnects on the other end by the gas pedal.

    busted, sorry!
haven't forgotten about you. The truck is 2 hrs away from me now to getting down there or convincing a family member to remote inspect is challenging.
