Got jerked around on a '23 Platinum Hybrid by a guy but I found me a nice '22 1794 with just 9K miles.

my son was fortunate i gave him a car to drive with. hand me down ford escort in green that was from grandpa. i let him beat that to learn how to drive in ND winters. $900 car i had to put $1500 into to make it somewhat safe since grandpa ran it into the ground. new tires and engine work. saved me tons in insurance for the 2 yrs he drove it before we actually bought hime a decently newer used car.

GMC issues for sure. Been a Toyota/Honda guy for decades, didn't care for the new Tundra bought the GMC. Never again. I'm home....

 

Been waiting to post on this thread for almost 2 years. Ha. Finally picked up my new Tundra today and drove her 344 miles home. "Brownie" my wife has christened her. I was a bit unsure about the smoked mesquite but love it in person. Big thanks to Corey @cdq85 and Greg at Toyota of Greensburg P.A. who made the process completely painless. love the truck. Drives great, plenty of power, super comfortable and I averaged 18.5 driving at a pretty good pace and over a lot of big hills. I'm very happy. Mike

Beautiful truck and I hope it serves you well.

 

Placed the deposit on February 4th. Picked her up April 27th. Close to 700 kms on her already and got the tank average down to 13.1L/100km in the first 3/4 of a tank. Motivated to get through the break-in process quickly so we can tow with it.

Just picked up ‘23 Platinum. Already quite a bit on order for it. No lift or tires since I mainly drive highway miles. Did get 4x4 for jobsite and property access. Lets see how it does!

You betcha! I had the dealership install Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70R18 116T tires as I was looking for AT tires with the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake rating. I installed the Diamondback SE cover and a Valhalla cat plate.

Was looking at these on my phone and hasn’t noticed a Diamondback. I like it a lot and was considering it at one point but it just wouldn’t work for me. Congrats! You finally got it. Mine is coming later this week.

I ordered a Platinum long bed in WCP Nov. 2021 from Longo Toyota. I checked in with them once a quarter and the last time I talked to the sales person he said I was #1 on the waiting list.
There was not much hope though since it's a crap shoot if Toyota will allocate the build I was looking for.
I finally started looking on Autotrader, opened up the distance and found the exact truck at Handy Toyota in VT.
I'm in the SF Bay Area so 3,000 miles away. Found a transport company with help from this forum.
it's cost $1200 to transport and two weeks to arrive.
With all that said, I paid MSRP plus transportation.
Tested my first tow with 8,400 lb Jayco. went from 2008 Crewmax limited. This new Tundra pulls better and smother.
Very happy with the upgrade.

 

@BigArt Do you have the rear air suspension on your truck or do have the rear coil spring suspension and a WDH for pulling your trailer? It doesn’t appear you have much squat with your setup.

 

it has AVS and WDH. I adjusted the AVS link to the highest setting. it was bottoming out when I first got it and found the solution here.
