@iHacker, sorry if I missed this - but does your harness leave the low beams running when you flash or use the high beam?

Yes sir, this is how they should be working in normal conditions. Some of the harnesses around don’t work in this way so be sure before buying yours.

@iHacker I got the harness and new lights installed. Thanks for the quick shipping and very helpful installation instructions! I'm very happy with the harness. Wish I would have found this solution much sooner. Great job!

@iHacker, I need one of these:

2014-2017 1794/Platinum/2018-2021 SR5 (Trucks with single LED DRL and halogen headlights) $100

How do I go about placing an order, and what's the estimated time to ship currently?

    Thanks.

Thanks for pasting that - though the original post is ~4.5 years old so I asked what the current timeline is. OP responded and it is still 1-2 days.

Don’t mean to threadjack, but go with Baja Designs squadron sport or Diode Dynamics ss3 pro for your fogs. Many on here prefer them to the rigid fogs. If you’re in any kind of snow belt or drive in some desert dusty off road scenarios, go amber lens. If not, the clear lens will be fine but you will be blown away at the output. Similar from going halogen headlights to LED headlights but even better.

I have the DD SS3 pros, btw.

    Shout out to iHacker
This is one of the best upgrades you can do and his wiring kit made it so simple
All in it took me 1 hour with beer breaks-

I bought the oem trd pro LED set from sparks parts for 641$ shipped plus his wiring kit for 130$ so the swap is right around 760$ total.

    2014 sr5 now a pro lol

Just traded my 17 Platinum and had iHackers harness and OEM LEDs for about 5 years on it and worked flawless. Although better than the pathetic halogens that came with truck, the 18+ LEDs are still a far cry from other manufacturers LEDs output.

Got mine on! Big fan, just need to get dark so I can go adjust them. Anyone have a good method? Or is it all by feel ?

Also, I added some LED Blinkers, but they were always on and had a hyper flash. After some research, it’s an issue that requires a resistor - so I went ahead and put the halogen blinkers back in. Anyone deal with the same issue?

Just installed TRD Pro LED headlight housings with @iHacker (Lowlife Style) harness. Maybe 1 hour from start to finish. @iHacker instructions were simple and dead on. Should have done this years ago.

Totally agree on SparksParts and use the code TUNDRAS.COM or TUNDRADUDE34 for 5% off

    https://www.sparksparts.com/tundra-parts

Another option is trying to get a price match at your local Toyota dealership so that way you get free shipping.

    Good luck!!

MASSIVE thank you and shout out to you Mr OP for this service. I’m looking to grab a pair of oem LED headlights for my 2014 this year and I’ll be buying your harness if you’re still making them!!!!

I mean if you're just going for an updated look then maybe.

Quality won't be as good and I doubt output would be as good as well. Just because something looks like OEM does not mean it will perform like OEM. Just get it right the first go around.

Someone here did post a while back about one noticeable thing, the DRL's were really DIM in daylight and not much better in overcast.

Totally agree. I just wish there was more videos and threads going over the differences. I can’t believe you can snag the oem versions for $280 each from online dealers. I’m sure there are definitely some differences but I would love some more coverage on the matter. I’m sitting here looking at $400 aftermarket pair vs $566 for an oem pair. Might be better to just slowly buy the oem’s over time even if it takes longer (I know that’s the right answer lol)

I talked to a guy who was selling an oddball pair of these on OfferUp. The DS was an oem black housing version and the PS was the smoked TYC aftermarket headlight. Being transparent with him that I wasn’t going to buy them but had some questions about the performance, he said that the output was basically the same but the LED DRL were a little different. Again leading me to want to see some videos on the subject but I think I’ll just buy the OEM’s for $280 ea & suck it up. It’s not much more than $200 ea for aftermarket lol
