OK so I'm still thinking I'm going get dragged back into Lowes and made to return my stuff. This one I have to explain. I always been a Bosch guy when everyone else is a Milwaukee, Dewalt, or Makita guy, Kinda like Tundra vs Ford and Chevy. Well over the years I have about every Bosch 18v tool that I can invent some small use for as excuse to buy it. I have always wanted the big mechanic impact drill but had no REAL use for that my 1/2 hammer drill could not handle. Today I turn down the Bosch isle and see thay got a sale on the heavy grade line call Profactor. If you buy a Profactor bare tool you can get 2 8amp batteries free. Look up what 2 pack 8amps cost, $279. Then I see my always wanted never needed impact was marked down to $199. I look at the small print for 5 minutes and got the tool lady involved because I hate shit going wrong at check out. She agreed and walked me to check out just in case. I probably have 20 total batteries, these are my first 8amps. Pic as proof.

I have gotten lucky like that a couple times with the “buy bare tool, get batteries” deal - but that one is a solid steal

sort of a purchase, but dropped off the fenders at a local body shop, getting a small crack and some imperfections repaired. Will get them mounted and paint matched afterwards. Got quoted 1.5k total for labor and paint, pricey but know I’ll be happier running the fenders paint matched and professionally installed

Doesn’t sound too bad of a price to me. Are they mounting first then painting on truck?

yea they'll be mounting them first to get the fitment right. From what I understood they'll be be removing them afterwards and painting them off the truck.
when I had them prep and clear my carbon hood last year, they did it off the truck after verifying the fitment was good, so pretty sure it will be the same with the fenders.

Sounds good. I’m quite cheap but the price doesn’t sound too bad for 2 fenders and 2 bedsides if that’s what you’re getting done.

oh no, no bedsides, the quote is for just the fenders. the Barcelona red metallic paint has quite the price on it. also I don't have the heart to chop the panels off my bed to get glass mounted

I've had my Bosch drill for over a decade now. It has been abused multiple times and still works great. I'm still using the original batteries too.

My 6.5” M18 Fuel circular saw died a couple days ago after light use for 3 years. Pretty disappointing.

So I upgraded to the 7.25” rear handle. It’s a big boy saw.

I went the firestone route with daystar cradles. They are great for towing our 6000lb trailer. I did one season of using a 12v air compressor and i finally found a good deal on the Air Lift 7400ez onboard air compressor. It was a little spendy but hot damn, its nice. I just installed it on friday and cant wait to put it to use.

That’s in the future for me. For now I’ll use my portable air compressor. My camper is 5060 dry weight. Even with the weight distribution bars, I still have a little squat. And bumps and dips should feel better too.
