    Howdy y'all,

As some of you know, I have been going through it for a little over a year and a half. Maybe two years. I finally came out of this rough patch, and was immediately blessed with the absolute love of my life. Shortly thereafter, we were pregnant. Her son, "our" kid is just as ecstatic about little baby H as we are, and the rest of the family is now.

We are 8 weeks along as of today, and we are all besides ourselves with excitement, and anticipation. We are hoping for a girl, but we aren't far enough along to know what we are having with an ultrasound.

Boy, lemme tell ya... the first ultrasound... Golly! I about fell in the floor! Wow.
    IMG_20230528_204703.jpg IMG_20230528_204717.jpg

Anyways, we are just so excited for our kids. I posted a little bit about this on the 1st gen lunch table thread, and some asked about a registry... so we made one. PM me for a link.

We have already received a donation from one of our members, and I cannot tell you how excited we were. Positively elated. We do not expect anything from anyone, but we are grateful for anything, and everything. Every little bit helps.

No obligations here at all. If you can, we appreciate you. If you can't, or don't. Still, thank you.

We only ask that the diapers stay pampers swaddlers no matter the size, and the wipes stay pampers sensitive skin.

Thanks for reading this, and taking the time out of your day for this short little read.

Congrats! Nothing can make you smile like your own child, and nothing can break your heart more than your own child. Be prepared for many of both of these, but my wish for you is that you have far more of the first!

Congrats Noah, glad you’re getting some sunshine finally. Shit hits different when you are no longer the center of your universe. Enjoy those kids at every stage, as each phase comes with a lot of good and a little challenge. The challenge is worth it, just don’t forget to enjoy the good. Happy for you guys!

I remember being out with friends as a kid riding bikes around town. We'd have a change of plans as to where we were going, so I'd hit up a payphone and do that collect call thing to check in with my parents.

Foe those following along, went for check up on Tuesday. All tests came back good. Heart beat is 158 bpm.

Right in the slot for what the doctor wanted to see.

All vitals look good. Next up is our first ultrasound

Lil Kolson is growing big and strong. Just over a pound now.

He's a fighter already. We have a two vessel umbilical cord per the doctor, it's not uncommon, but can cause growth issues in later stages.

We are doing extra dr. trips to monitor our boy! High risk evaluations every time.
