I have maybe 2k miles on my RXt leaf pack by Icon. After the first 1k it started squeaking at every movement. Not just bumps, the loading and unloading of any weight transfer in the truck.

All bolts are torqued and checked 3 times and to spec. I tried silicon spray. I’ve tried white lithium. I’ve done both twice and not lightly. Nothing shuts them up. It’s not the bushings either it’s the spring pack just grexing. Any successful tips ?

Mine are pretty much shot now at option 3. For sure will be toast once the rear bumper goes on. Not worth re-arching

We have a surefire method that we call the bicycle tire method and those that have used it have enjoyed effectively 100% success in silencing squeaks on these packs. Head on down to Walmart and pick up a bicycle inner-tube. It comes in a roll. Cut it into small strips (a few inches long). Lift the truck and then use a prybar to separate the leafs. Can be done with the truck on the ground, but easier if the load is off. Use a brush to clean up the area, and then USE PLIERS to put a small strip of the bicycle tire rubber where you can see that the leafs are making contact. You'll see the friction pads already in there, but we're essentially spreading that out.

You also could use this - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8V5BHW

Did you spray the leafs under full droop? I recently used this spray: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D3G6IFE?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and actually tapped a screwdriver in-between leafs to create gaps to spray in. I stuck the straw in and really saturated them as well as spraying down both sides. Seems to be working well so far.

This must be creaky-leaf weekend... I've got my truck up on stands right now with PB Blaster's brand of dry-lube drying. It seems like the two overload springs where there are not friction pads on the bottom of my Dobinsons leaf packs creak. I think. Lol.

I'm going to put liners in my Alcans after my camping trip next week. They creak like a damn Dodge.

@Tundra234 next time I buy leaf packs I will do exactly that before installing. No idea why I didn't think of it beforehand.

Let me know how it goes! Whenever I get around to this, I plan to remove the u-bolts, lower the axle, c-clamp upper leaves and remove the center pin to slide in lengths of liner.
Two rolls? Sounds like enough for both of our trucks. How about you stop by and we'll have a shop day?

So usually the noise just comes from the ends? i was thinking I needed to pull the whole pack apart....that would be a PITA.

BINGO. You also could take the entire pack out/apart to make things a tad easier, but in my experience the noise comes from the ends (or the bushings) almost all of the time.

Ha....I think I'll stick to a few inches on each end. I think I fractured a couple of ribs on Friday and still bruised and sore as hell so I'm not trying to fight with taking those heavy ass things out.

Lol. A fight with a shelf at Wally world when I was trying to help a lady reach some dog food. The damn thing fell apart. I didn't think anything of it until I got home and the adrenaline wore off lol.

That seems to make sense to me as that's where the force is being applied by each leaf.

I’ve tried pressure washing and air gun combined with white lithium then Teflon then dry moly. Nothing. Shuts. Them. Up. I thought I was upgrading by going to Rxts. This will be the next attempt. Thank you for this response and video. It gives me some hope. My 2021 sounds like an old mattress in a whore house.
