Do you live within a reasonable drive of the border?
If so, we just did a border run. Used a UPS Store in Lewiston, NY. Cost was just $5USD per package under 3 lbs if picked up within 30 days.

Yeah, that could be an option. I never think about it, as I don’t have any need or reason typically. But I’m likely a little over an hr from Sarnia/port Huron.

Closer than we are. It was almost a 2 hour drive from Cambridge to Lewiston including the border crossing.
However, I’m fortunate that I get paid per diems in USD and have a USD account and Visa so I haven’t had to pay any exchange on these purchases.

Also, if you have Facebook you should consider joining the Southwestern Ontario 2022+ Tundra Group I started a few weeks back!

@Mattedfred Did you find a good OBD lock for your truck? I'm shopping for one now. I have a Valhalla cat plate, faraday box and pouches, and the OBD lock should be a pretty good trifecta.

I picked up this one last year from Amazon, same price now. It's good to clear codes, diagnostic check, temps of all fluids etc. I haven't done anything serious with it yet, but find it handy for the odd thing. I believe you get access to multiple vehicle profiles, so it will work with my wife's Rav4 too. It's left plugged in and displays on my phone when needed or if we decide to start playing around with our 0-60 etc.

+30 temps here all week and the foreseeable future.

Too hot to wash truck, so here's a quick and dirty pic with the new front end.

I'm actually looking for a lock for the OBD2 port to put up another roadblock for thieves.

I bought a Carista OBD2 adapter but I don’t have an OBD port lock. I went with a steering wheel lock instead.

Damn, if I hadn't already bought Weathertechs I'd be getting these, better coverage, look great. Nice they ship from Canada too, no crazy duties/shipping.

I haven’t seen them in person but I’ve watched several review and installation videos and I think they’ll be perfect for our use case. I feel they provide superior coverage when compared to any other option and they have been around for a number of years with positive reviews. Plus, Tuxmat is Canadian.

So a few changes on the 2024 models. I was in for service & chatted with my sales guy today. From the ordering guide for 2024 model year.

theymade tow mirrors an add or delete option on a few models, and added Nightshade trim of note

Nice to see them making some changes. Perhaps it means the supply chain constraints are easing. I’m jealous of any future MY24 SR5 Offroad owner for being able to get those tow mirrors!

So true! Maybe Toyota Canada heard enough people speaking out about some package options they actually listened! A bit anyway

I think they do, but they rely too heavily on survey responses. Feeling that they do, I’ve filled out the first one and agreed to complete any future surveys. Think I’ve done 4 in less than two months of ownership.

Ha....we are probably the last province in the country that would qualify to host. It would have to be after we separated from Alberta to become our own province.

We've had the Junos....but no Olympics. The closest we got was the PanAm games a couple decades ago, those were pretty cool to have.
