@Hasteen did you just use rustoleum or something? also I like the headlights you did, did you just get those from Amazon or ebay or something? I heard the LED ones off ebay only last like 6 months though, any experience with that?

Head down to your local oreilly's and grab one of these Transtar cans below @tacoguybill they also have flat and gloss.
i scuffed them down and used a tack rag before applying any paint on them.
As for the headlights i used SiriusLED off Amazon. $50 for each set Headlight & fog light 2 year warranty.
they send you one immediately once they verify your order number if anything is wrong.
i've had the headlight set on my 16' CM since november and no issues.
my 04' i think i have moisture leaking into my passenger headlight assembly so i had to replace it twice,
but no hassle from the manufacture. haven't had issues in a month now. *crossing fingers* it stays that way.

I swapped out those jive ass A.C. Delco plugs for some NGK iridiums.

Silly previous owner.... delcos are for Briggs lawnmowers, not man trucks

Put in an 8" Rockville sub under the passenger side seat. I don't listen to rap. I just need some kick when listening to Slayer or Megadeth :) My Pioneer deck has built in controls and it works really nice. Tornado of Souls sounds better now :)

Only took a couple of hours with a nice kit. Had awesome 80 degrees with a low dew point also just made it a really nice day.

I also gave it a nice wash. Need to go out and take some proper pics.

Used the Malone J Kayak mount. Very well made.... Better than Thule and Yaks

new timing belt and associated parts, SPC upper control arms, lower ball joints, new oil seals on the front diff, nothing exciting. Curious as to how the new UCA will ride once I get it aligned and take her off road.

Follow up- Took her off road Sat and the ride is MUCH improved. I have bilstein 5100s up front set on the 2nd notch from bottom so not too high but with the SPC arms there is a lot more articulation and a much smoother ride now.

My 2003 Tundra recently developed a humming noise when engine got up to 40 mph.Dealership put chassis ears on it and during 4th test drive heard a tinking noise and the humming went away.Tech looked in rear view saw a rock tumbling down road.In must have been stuck in one of the u joints.

My saved search on craigslist sent me to look at a Leer cap yesterday. Guy only wanted $100 and wow it is super nice. I think it is a 100XR or similar with tinted glass, insulated roof, sliding front and side glass with screens, and a frameless tempered rear glass. Time to start planning a camping trip :)

Went to drop the drive shaft today at the fire station only to notice just how bad the shaft has rusted. The counterweights are pitted also.

I feel a trip to the boneyard is in order. New carrier bearing and u joints can wait

If that's the worst thing that happens....

Replaced the rear 2 tires yesterday with new shoes. DISCOUNT tire didn't have all 4 so they ordered 2 more and when they came in I had em slapped on. I knew there was a broken belt in the rear... it had a slight hop at low speed.

Ordered the center support/ carrier bearing that has 100k on it from toyota... those boys almost had me trade my 2000 for a 2010 they'd just took in but I wasn't gonna sign on for $15k in payments. I'm too deep into this one. My driveshaft guy said my shaft had years left on it but I think I will still get a boneyard shaft and have him redo all universals, carrier, and balance it for good measure. I'll have a spare shaft to trade out and not have to borrow a car....

I'll start look at lifts soon. Need shocks and I can't find a better reason to throw the lift on at the same time

I bought a set of cargo racks from Princess Auto (Canadian version of Harbor Freight). I discovered they were 4" too narrow to fit my boat. I happen to be a welder in a fab shop, and my boss hooked me up with some free pipe. I modified the racks to have a wider cross bar and installed them on the truck. Works like a charm now.

After driving with this for a week all I can say is, "why didn't I do this sooner!" So much more light driving at night. Better illumination in the ditches and farther out both.

Good looking set up. Is that a 12 foot boat? I have a 10 foot jon boat. I just put mine in the bed of my truck. I would like to build a rack on my boat and extras.

Yep, it's a 12ft boat. Well, 11' 9" technically according to the manufacturer's spec. It's a Lowe 1240. I have had it in the box same as you, but I have roughly 3' 6" of overhang beyond the tailgate. Not a big deal, but I prefer it on the racks for rough road travel.

I can take some better pics of the rack this weekend if anyone is interested.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
Dang, on my 2007 I only pay like $80 for the Oklahoma state tag. No SMOG test...
