Factory Nav won't accept verbal address entry.

2019 SR5/TRD Stupid little chick in the dashboard doesn't listen when I talk to her. (Kinda' like my wife)

I can type in an address, but when I try to enter one verbally it just drops out.

I hit the voice button and say "Navigation" and she asks for the address... sometimes drops out then, sometimes lets me say the address but then drops and just goes back to the audio screen.

Any ideas?

 

I use “hey siri” for turn by turn via blue tooth.

if I’m worried I’m gonna get lost in a spot with no cell service, i key in a destination into the factory Nav. It’ll get you out of anywhere your gps can talk.

 

So yours won't accept addresses verbally either? Is that functionality just not available?
