20" Ultra Motorsports Mavericks with 30mm backspace, 305-55-20 Goodyears, ET8 painted grill surround, tube step bar, anodized horns grill emblem, weathertechs...planned mods: true duals since they stole my cats/pipes, bedliner, bed 110v, interior 110v.
My buddy has a craftsman code reader and a 08 5.7 2wd identical to mine except color and trd pkg. Mine is an 07. Both trucks pulled these identical codes while off. No driveability issues, dash lights, etc. Im 4 days into ownership at 52800 miles, hes had his since new. More curious than trying to solve a problem...thoughts?

0300 random misfire detected...could be an issue.

0125 insufficient coolant temp for closed loop fuel control...prolly due to being off.

0894 Toyota readiness transmission component slipping...could be an issue.

2714 toyota readiness pressure control solenoid D performance or stuck off...prolly due to being off.

Im not putting much stock into there being a problem, but i have 30 days from purchase to identify problems and have them fixed no charge. The misfire/tranny codes raised an eyebrow.

Take it to an auto parts store and hook their scanner up to it. Should be free to do. It seems a bit suspect that both of your trucks are pulling identical codes with no issues.

Take it to a Toyota dealer to get an estimate on those repairs and bill the dealer you bought it from, if is not a Toyota dealer.

Resurrecting this thread because I found I had the same readiness codes but no CEL recently. However, what I did have was 4 lo flashing. It was intermittent for a few days before staying permanently. I could not shift into 4x4 at all so I thought it was the actuator. No other lights whatsoever and truck was driving fine. I pulled the codes and thought maybe the the coolant temp and misfire codes were linked so I ordered a new coolant temp sensor for $32. As I was scouring the Net looking for cheap, easy fixes for the transmission codes I came across a thread on another site that referenced 3 of the 4 same codes but had another transmission code in place of my 0894. A member of that forum suggested changing the transmission output speed sensor saying it fixed all of his codes, however he had no 4 lo flashing issue. I ordered the $50 output speed sensor to try.

I installed the new temp sensor first and the 4 lo flashing stayed for just one more drive cycle before going away permanently. So, if you have only 4 lo flashing and no other lights it’s worth swapping out the temp sensor to see if that does the trick. It did not resolve any of the codes though. I’m hoping the transmission output speed sensor solves that issue by and will report back.
