I have a 2013 Tundra. I decided to find the original window sticker for my truck. I went to monroelabels.com and typed in my vin. On the sticker it says that the TRD Off Road package was installed. My truck does not have the TRD decals on it. Also on the sticker it says that the TRD package only costs $70 extra. That doesn’t make sense. How can I tell if my truck is a TRD or not?

Are you the original owner? Someone may have stripped those decals.
See if you have the fuel skid plate. If the shocks are original, what are their color? Do you have the 5 spoke wheels?

70 bucks seems really odd but who knows. It was 10 years ago.

    Function before sparkle.
Look at the rear shocks. If they are still stock the TRD off-road package were blue. Standard shocks were black.

    Plus fuel tank skid plate.

Thanks for the info. I am not the original owner. I will check the things listed.

My TSS bed sticker was removed the day I brought the truck home..:D

As others stated, the blue shocks (if original) would designate the TRD package.

    DAMN, $50K for a Limited in 2013..:eek2:

How do you tell if your truck is a TRD?

The answer is simple: measure yon tallywacker. If it's added >2" in length and .75" in circumference then you have a 2nd gen TRD.

Inversely, if you have a 1st or 3rd gen you'll notice you've taken a penalty to those dimensions.

Tacoma owners will note that they now have the equivalent of what is called a "nubbin".

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
TRD offroad is dirt cheap for a shock upgrade. The highest I've seen it is was ~$150.
