    Need some help!
I had new rims put on my 2017 SR5 yesterday and had to replace 3 of the TPMS sensors that broke with after market sensors. The installer programed the new ones into his unit but the light on the dash is still on. I tried to reset the tire light on the dash and I can't get the light to flash to reset. I did everything from reading the manual, YouTube and went as far as to disconnect the battery starting the process all over again.

At one point after he did his work the digital unit said to drive the truck for a 12 mins or 5 miles and the light would go out, but it never did. I'm at the point now I want disable the light all together. I understand this is possible but I can't find any instructions for my truck. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. This has been going on for 2 days now and I've probably been in his shop close to 8 hours while he has been working with the manufacture of the equipment he using. I am at a lost for what to do now.

I did check out a couple threads which were helpful. Here's 2 pics from 2 seperate threads that show the wires that need to be modified. One uses a Posi-Tap and the other is the hillbilly method. I believe the plug I need is under the glove box.

Both of that is the exact mod. I dont like to cut and splice into factory wire like that. That’s y we de-pin the light blue wire and attached to the yellow wire by back probe. No cut.

When you say de-pin you remove it from the plug?

Yes. U can use a tiny de-pinning tool. Remove the wire from the plug completely
