I also got the nifeliz leopard tank - it’s a pretty hard build actually. Maybe it’s because my eyes are going and I just can’t see as well!!!! Hahaha. But it’s a cool build. Will upload pics when I am finished

Got ford gt today with a gift card I received for my birthday. Was the first time I have had a Lego set with a missing part. I am meticulous about keeping everything together and couldn’t find it anywhere. Luckily it didn’t stall the build - it’s a piece that can be added as soon as I receive it. This was a really fun build and a really cool car.

Finished the Ecto-1 build and added the light kit. Fun build overall. The light kit had me a little infuriated for a bit bc the wiring is so thin and not much room for error when installing!

I have my eye on some technic cars. Loved Lego as a kid. Actually got me into model kits for a while as well.

funny story; I bought this and put it together. When unplaced it on the shelf something wasn’t right as it wouldn’t sit level (none of the wheels touched. When assembling it the engine parts rotated and were poking out the bottom. Didn’t notice until I was finished. There isn’t any way to simply fix it as everything is built around the engine (it’s the first let to assemble). So it is sitting in pieces in a ziploc bag waiting for me to take it apart and reassemble it…..

If you like the technics, the jeep, mustang, corvette and Camaro are all fun builds and are relatively cheap…..if you want a really fun one and are willing to spend a bit more money get the ford gt.

We started a Christmas tradition. We have and are adding to a Lego Christmas village.

This is where we are as of this year.

Apparently Lego has figured out what the EV industry cannot - how to get energy from tiny batteries. My son used it for a few hours and it's going strong.

Yeah, it appealed to me since I like to think I can take pictures. Thought it would look good next to my cameras.

Hello fellow Lego nerds! During the plandemic, I went back to school (online) and rekindled my love for Lego, after a 20 year hiatus for both. I have terrible ADHD and found building Lego during lectures helped me retain more from the lecture, haha. When I graduated, Mrs. PolishedTRD gave me a Lego trio - Lambo, Ferrari, & Bugatti - which only fueled another expensive hobby!

This is exactly what happened to me; I keep telling my wife “it’s cheaper than heroine.” She answered, “I am not so sure about that!” They’re damned expensive but just as addictive

I also have the Orange Porsche and never got to open it. Given how much it’s selling for now, I’m hesitant to build it! I bought several smaller sets to compensate. I’m not sure if any of the other large Technic cars will be similarly expensive. I’ve learned Porsche nerds are a particular bunch. Combine with Lego, and it’s a whole new level.
