I really do not know how much this will be but I will post the total once they figure out all that is broke!! It is a mess for sure. One good thing is the body staying on, I had just took the clip on posts off and put on push button connects and they held tight!!!:)

this is as bad as my buddy. He wrecks into fire hydrants, curbs, cars, even he lost it but his flipped three times doing 91 and landed upright only scraping his brand new mclaren painted body very badly!!!

When I first got my kids into RC I told them some things we needed to have.

First were the rules: Drive, Break, Repair, Repeat.
Then the tools: I had mine and I picked them a RC tool kit of their own to share.
Finally I said... The last thing we need is a "Box of Carnage"

We are currently on our second full box of all the broken bones and smoked gears, servos, arms bearings, bodies, etc, etc, etc.!
But they love extracting the broken parts from the trucks and putting them: in the Box!

762 dollars later!!! Plus a few upgrades! I mean why not they were not that much more than what was in there!! Here it is!!! I am sure I will not have any trouble melting the two sets of tires I have to replace the ones on there. I can then put on the foam racing tires that are made to go straight!:)

upgraded ECU, upgraded servo, and new under carriage since I bent and twisted the original. Now it is ready. Speed trials start next week!!!!:)

Was out this past weekend and the parking lot was not big enough. I almost found myself in trouble a couple times and I put it up. 75 was the best I could get on a short run and that is amazingly fast when you are at ground level watching it in person!!! Looking for a bigger place that we can open it up. My buddy blew up his new Mamba motor,, thinking he spun a gear and the motor free spun and blew apart on the inside. He has sent it off for warranty claim?? :)

Left the orange one stock. Black one got an 1100kv motor with a max5. Super fast! Nice addition!

I took out the rear bulkhead on the orange one. That was an all nighter with a few shots of whiskey. :D
Been wrenching on my Arrmas alot. They're ready for some bashing. Just need time to get to the skate park and some off roading.:D

Anyone have any idea what part this spring is? My son smoked his traxxas stampede 2wd into a curb tonight - parts flying everywhere. I’ve looked through the parts diagrams and have no clue what part this is or where it goes. Thanks in advance

Ha! No sir this and a few gun forums seems to take any xtra money I can put into the slush fund. :)

I already have spent to much on RC everything! It’s been way to hot to run the last 8 weeks. Just now charging up some batteries to run things to get the spiders out of the motors! :)

    Just found this thread.

I am definitely not as serious about this hobby as some.

I had the first gen tmaxx and I ran that thing through two engines until just about every part was worn out.
    Right.jpg
I got back into the hobby with a second hand rustler that has gone through a few different setups.
    IMG_20170516_200929.jpg
It's now been 100% converted to a Bigfoot#1 with a VXL parts and motor, and big bore shocks. Once I finished it, I felt like it was too nice to run, so I keep a proline Raptor body and Proline Trenchers for running around.
    PXL_20230331_023322868.jpg PXL_20230401_013533641.jpg
My boy and I fixed up his uncle's old Rustler. He wanted a stampede body and likes the color green. Dyed wheels with Proline trenchers.
    PXL_20230401_140714488~2.jpg
    (It's not brushless)

This Christmas, my kids, 4,7,9, are getting Trx4ms. I have been doing a little building on them. Full bearing kits from INJORA and vinyl decals.
    For my daughter:

Thanks! It’s my slowest, least suspension travel, and most fragile RC but it’s my favorite one to drive.

They have a lot of scale details..leaf springs and all. I question how functional they are.

I just picked up an Infraction 3S BLX 4 wheel drive today. Also picked up the Losi 1/16 1970 Chevelle for my son for Christmas. That Chevelle runs anywhere from 33 to 38 mph. Not bad for a 2S and 6000kv motor.
