Good friend has an '07 Sequoia, and recently started shutting down, all the cluster lights blinking. He did have a rear camera installed, with wiring going up under the sunroof molding and down A-pillar to fuse box. This started happening during recent So Cal rains and he wondered if water followed the wire to the fuse box.

Now he's being told by a mechanic that it would be the throttle body. When I spoke to him, I explained that cleaning the TB is easy and usually, you'd do the MAF at the same time. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever experienced a bad MAF such that it caused the truck not to start/run and idiot lights all start blinking. That doesn't sound right to me, but figured I'd ask those who know this rig better.

Or if you've had similar issues with your Sequoia, would appreciate hearing from you.

FWIW, I own a Tundra but previously had a 2000 Land Cruiser, so I have some experience with the motor in his Sequoia.

    Thanks
