2021 Tundra Platinum - Backlit Lock/Unlock and Power Folding Mirrors

All - thanks in advance for the feedback. The dealership purchased from can't verify if that's how it's made, or if it's an issue. But the lock/unlock and power folding mirror buttons aren't backlit. I was hoping it was a fuse or something - but thinking that's simply how it was designed. Anyone else have one that can verify?

It's a pain at night - especially the mirrors as I fold them to fit better in the garage.

Anyone else have this issue, or better yet - doesn't..Meaning mine can be fixed?

 

I have a 16 platinum can confirm it is the same, the switch itself is not backlit.
This is actually present on all tundra's as Toyota didn't include a backlit switch for some reason.

 

Mirrors are not backlit or the unlock button. There are just two little blue lights for the windows. Recommend getting Vled puddle lights for your mirrors though. They work great!!! You might not even notice your stock ones. They only come on when you unlock your truck from fob or when you grab the handle and they also come on when you have fob in your pocket and you get close to the truck. Also if you keep the Switch in the left or right your mirrors tilt down when you hit reverse. Pretty cool feature when backing up next to curb

Thanks Alex for the recommendation. I will check out the puddle lights - you are right, not something I even noticed was there previously.

 

I replaced all interior lights, puddle lights, backup and bed cabin lights with LED's from Amazon. Worth every penny.
