Hi all. All the info on this forum is extremely helpful. I just put a 2" front level on my 21 CrewMax 4x4 SR5 and had 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeaks put on there. They fit and look great, but they are less than a finger tip away from the upper control arm. Is that a problem or do I need to put half inch spacers on for a little more clearance? It clears everything else.

    Thanks.

If you have at least a 1/4” of space you should be ok. I have 305/65 r18 on my stock rims. I have maybe about a 1/4” of space between upper control arm and tire. No rub, no spacers, and stock rims. You should be ok.

Thanks. Love the look and really didn’t want to go wider.

    Yeah
I’m going for your size tires next time. Hopefully no clearance issues with my stock rims

That's about what I have. No scrubs or contact on the way home and I went aggressive on some speed bumps. I'm sure at max turn while articulated there may be something but that's not a problem with me. I don't do any off-roading in this so it's mainly 95% road with some dirt roads mixed in and towing a small RV and boat.

Getting an alignment on Thursday. Is that going to bring the top even closer to the UCA? Here's where I sit right now.

None of us can do more than guess at this, because we don't know if it's out of alignment now, or what will need to move to align it.

IMO, you will likely be ok. I ran closer on my FJ and Tundra for many years with no issue. Maybe once in a while, in reverse, cranked left, going too fast, I could get the tired to graze the UCA.

Looks to me like the toe end is too far in. We'll see how the alignment goes and I'll report back. Really liking the look and stance of the level and 295/70/18s on stock wheels. I held off on raising the back since I'm putting the RAS HD on there in a couple days.

I really think you’ll be ok. Mine is that tight and I haven’t had any problems

I ended up putting on Bora spacers with the same set up...I did want them a bit further out since I have flares.

I think i'm still going to end up with 1 or 1 1/2 inch spacers. I just think it should be a little further away from the UCA. On another note, I installed the RAS HD today and I'm amazed at how flat the leaf springs are with no weight on them. No wonder the payload is so low.

They design to be flat, you gonna love them RAS. My ride like it’s on rail now

Definitely liking the ride so far. I set it on the 40% for the lift and was afraid it would be too rigid, but it's not. I tow a 5k lb RV pretty frequently so not towing real heavy. I like the ability to adjust strength as needed.
