2022 with OEM tires and 1.75" leveling:
I just did a 3,000 mile road trip from FL to NY and back. Towed a trailer with a car there and came back with just the truck.
Pulling the trailer, doing 70 mph most of the time, I got a steady 17.5 MPG, which I thought was good. The 2018 5.7 got about 11 mpg doing the same trip. On the way back, similar speed, got consistent 24 - 25 MPG. In Semi truck slip stream I was able to maintain close to 30 MPG, keeping a safe distance from the semi; I could probably get better if I followed closer, but no need to be unsafe to feed my curiosity.

    Just regular 87.

And I have to add that I don't always drive like that. This trip was intentional trying to get the best mpg I could get. Other days I play with the skinny pedal and it doesn't look anything like this. :)

Generally around 16.5 - 17 tank average. I only drive rural roads with no traffic and only a couple red lights, miles apart. My routine rarely strays. And I'm not heavy on the throttle.

It's a lot better than the 1997 F150 I had, which was around 13. The Taco I had in between the Ford and Tundra was about the same as the Tundra, maybe a bit worse because the v6 had to work a bit harder with a load in the bed going up some of the hills in my area.

I hit 18.3 on my stock 23 SR5 yesterday. City miles. Highway has yet to be tested since I haven’t had to take a trip yet in it.

    2021 DCLB 2wd 5.7, factory tires no add-ons - currently at 17mpg.
That's a mix of local stop&go and daily 30 min one-way work commute on interstate. Haven't towed with it yet and probably won't tow very often.
2015 was a DCLB 4wd with a heavy 8' topper, filled with gear/tools and towed regularly for 2 yrs. On 265/70-18 ATs - averaged 14.4 mpg for 4 yrs.
I'm estimating I'll realistically average 15-16 over the lifetime of the 2021.

Are these numbers based on the truck's computer or your own calculations?

    Both.
They were very similar between fuel stops, so I feel the computer's numbers are fairly accurate.
Sometimes between fuel stops I would reset it and drive 100 or 200 miles or so in the semi's slip stream and then reset and do 100 or 200 miles not in any slip stream, sometimes slow, sometimes faster. To compare those I obviously could not do hand calculations and had to rely on the computer only. Since I had the time to do it (25 hr trip), I repeated several cycles of that to makes sure I account for different conditions (weather, topographic etc.) and the average results were very consistent.

This screen shot shows close to 30 MPG, at that point 1:58 into the trip. Actually, the graph tops out at 30, so there were probably times where it shows 30 that it was actually a bit over, because even with the few 28s and 25s etc. in between the average was 31.5. After that I stopped following the semi and played a bit with the throttle and got sections of under 20mpg average. Overall tank when filled up was then an average of 24.

I just compared my recent trip in the 2022 with an identical trip in the 2018 a year ago - hauling the same car to NY and coming back to FL without.
Hauling the car the 2018 got 13.36 and 12.90. Driving in NY/Long Island traffic I got 11.54. Back to FL without the trailer I got 17.75 and 17.31 and 17.75.
Hauling the car the 2022 got 17.65, 17.17 and 18.89. Driving in NY/LI traffic I got 15.92. Back to FL without the trailer I got 19.78, 24.64 and 24.04.

Just for the sake of interest.
My 2018. Average, mostly a mix of highway and city driving was about 14.5 until I put bigger LT 34" tires and 3/1 leveling on it, then it averaged at about 13. (overall average was 13.7)
    upload_2023-9-26_14-42-14.png

My 2022. Average 17.5, same mix of highway and city driving. Highway only trips are consistent over 20 or even over 22.
    upload_2023-9-26_14-45-41.png

And ouch, it hurts when you look at it like this: (2018 over 4.5 years)
