VLED Footwell lights in aqua

Anyone running the VLED footwell lights in aqua? Thinking about pulling the trigger on the blues as opposed to white. I have Meso dome and map lights which are bright white, wanted something a little more tame for the footwell. I like the idea of the blue, just wondering what they look like in dim mode with the doors closed? I did find a few pics but they were with only with doors open.

 

I installed LED RGB Light bars in my footwells, front and rear, all connected to Bluetooth.

 

I have an older set that don't dim, but I really like the blue.

 

That looks great, I currently run blue on my lights. It's been set the blue for about year now lol

Finally got around to taking some pics. Ended up going with VLED’s front and rear. Real happy with the blue and they match the color in the knobs as well which is doubly awesome.

 

They make a huge difference. I have a cheap Amazon set but I love rocking the blue

 

Ha I spoke too soon. For some reason the lights are staying on at all times in dim mode. While I’m driving and even when the truck is off and doors locked. I swear this wasn’t the case a week or so ago when I first installed them. I outreached to VLED to troubleshoot. Wonder if it’s a bad dimmer control box.

 

Is that the Aqua color or the Blue color that they offer?

So just in case someone has the same problem I did with the lights not turning off when the truck was off, spoke with VLED, great customer service btw, they walked me through trouble shooting and eventually came to the conclusion that it was a bad high input on the dimmer and sent me a new one right away. Talked to them on Friday and it got here by Monday, installed Tuesday and problem solved.

 

Sorry you had an issue but glad its resolved. Customer service can totally make or break an experience. I definitely try and support companies that appreciate their customers and actively work to resolve issues.

 

Agreed, I'll pay a little more for a product with a company that provides that kind of support any day.

 

Ordered the front in blue, liked so much rears should be here by Saturday.

 

I still need to find a few minutes to install mine. Will see if I can squeeze it in this weekend.

 

Finally set aside a little time after work yesterday to get them installed. Fairly straightforward process, need to tuck the wire going from the drivers side to the passenger side still, but they’re in. My one fear did come true though, will have to keep my floor mats clean at all times now

 

Nice, I went with blue myself. They are nice,haven’t done any night diving with the yet.

 

I like the dimming feature they have for when the door is closed. I haven’t adjusted it yet, but it does provide a nice glow/little light if you drop something.

 

Got mine out last night,haven’t messed with dimming and they were perfect for dim at night.

 

It comes set at the lowest setting for dim mode from the manufacturer. I think it’s perfect for night, just enough to see but not too bright so that it’s overwhelming.

 

Anyone add blue ones to rear of a 3rd gen that comes with OEM mood lighting?
