That looks so clean! what is the offset on those wheels? They match the lines of the truck perfect

Looks like stock TSS wheels (Southwest region option) which have +50 offset.

Yea those are the factory wheels it came with and the +50 offset. I absolutely love how it came out.

I believe that size of Cooper Rugged Trek is SL load rated. What tire did you previously have and do you notice a softer ride with the SL rated tires? Mine came with BFG KO2 285/55R20 with the TSS package. They are D-rated and fairly stiff.

Just got back from elk hunting. These tires are awesome so far.

They are loud - that’s the only real trade off.

Dry dirt, rocks, gravel, boulders, sand, mud, wet rocks and very wet pavement on the way home… we saw it all. These coopers never flinched. About 70 miles of off-road driving over a couple of weeks and I never had a single concern. They are tough as nails and grippy as shit.

What are the actual diameters of the 275/70/18s? Cooper has a a diameter and Tirerack has a different one...are they 33.4" or 33.7"

Doing the math, they would be 33.15748.

That's what I saw too but other sites have different diameters listed...I think they look actually less from looking at the actual tires...though, it's been only a visual comparison...thanks for the notes...I am hoping I could get real-world measurements from someone's 275/70/18s when they can to confirm...

Anyone got these tires into some snow yet? I’m very curious how they handle.

Well, in the four pages here there is one complaint about them being loud and 4-6 people saying they are louder than stock but fine.

A loud tire can be subjective but the trend doesn’t appear to suggest they are close to a M/T.

I've had mine (275/70 R18) for about 1,000 miles now. They are louder than the stock Michelins, but that should be expected with an aggressive tread like these tire have. I really don't hear them until i get over about 50 mph. They are heavy, and I had mine installed a few days after installing my lift. With mostly shorter trips back and forth to work (about 15 miles each way), I'm seeing a 1.5-2 mph loss in fuel economy. Overall, I'm pleased with them. They perform well, and look pretty bad-ass.

I am new here and this is my first post. I just put the Cooper Rugged Treks on about 3000 miles ago. Drove from NC to MD last week and tooled around in that 12 inches of snow that fell on Monday day. I drove all around in that mess on the roads and never even had to engage 4x4, very impressive (all flat surfaces though). Then I went to a parking lot with 10 inches of power unplowed….Just wanted to get comfortable with the tires starting/stopping then acted like a teenager for a few minutes. Those tires are solid in the snow and the traction is great. Later that day I had to put it in 4x4 to help carry decoys down a muddy farm lane and it was solid there as well. All in all I like the tires so far, heading to Boone so we will see how they do on hills….

We will be getting 10" or so this weekend for you to play in. I may take my truck out for giggles..running STT pros, curious how they run in snow too.

Any updates on the tires? Still happy with them? I pretty much much just drive on paved roads. The occasional towing. Have a 3/1 leveling kit. Going to go with a 275/70/18 from my stock 255’s. Discount tires is offering $70 off and an additional 15% off if you use their Credit card for Presidents’ Day. Very tempted….

I’ve had mine on since September. Went with stock size, 255/70-R18 and an XL load rating. They are the first AT tire I’ve ever run so I can’t compare to anything, but I think I like them so far. Certainly look killer.

Still trying to dial in the pressures. Did a chalk test on my tires and they are supposed to run properly at 35lb front and 33lb rear for my set up. They seem to flat spot fairly easily, because my steering wheel shakes when I first get on the interstate when the truck has been sitting a few days. Tire Rack road force balanced them when I purchased them and I got an alignment done immediately after I installed them, so I figure the vibration has got to be the flat spotting.

I know it’s stock size but since it has a different load rating it could change the psi you should be running. This thread talks about how to figure that out. https://www.tundras.com/threads/how-to-determine-your-new-air-pressure-with-lt-tires.56860/

So I bit the bullet…..turned out real nice. Really like the aggressive look. Quiet ride and although my exhaust would drown out any tire noise I really tried to strain to hear any tire noise and could only hear it when slowing down between 40-50 mph. Havent gone highway yet. Real happy with it. Time will tell long term.

Thanks. I have the Readylift 3/1 leveling kit with the SCS wheels. Tires are 275/70/18 which comes out to just about a 34 inch tire.

    Well an update…

rugged treks off and installed 35x11.5r20 wildpeak at3w.

the Coopers turned out to be not so great in the snow so I ran a set of studded tires this winter.

the coopers became really noisy and although they look awesome just not super pleased with them. For 25k miles they wore nicely. Still a ton of tread left. Probably make some kid a smoking deal on them!

so far happy with the falkens. Quiet and Balanced really well (the coopers took a ton of weight each)

Out of curiosity, what issues did you have in the snow? I took my new Cooper rugged treks to the snow for the first time last week. They did great.

I have them in 275/60r20’s. I’ve had ko’s, ko2’s, wildpeaks, duratracs and now these. I drive to Northern Maine and NH in the winter and they worked fine, way better than the crappy duratracs ever did, not as good as the Falkens. They aren’t loud, only issue is they won’t balance. Steering wheel shakes like a bastard and its been back twice to be "fixed".

They've done well for me in the snow and havent had any balance issues thankfully. I really don't have much to compare them to though.
