Depends on your "local market" in my area a 2016 crewmax sr5 with 20k miles runs about $36k-$39k. I would say if you could get that truck at or below $40k-$42k you would be in great shape. With the way things are going Pros are only going to get more expensive.

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
I agree it's ridiculous to pay that much. Truth is, though, you will probably not get any better price for this truck. Pro's have gotten a premium since they hit the market and never sold under msrp, I believe. With the model being discontinued for 2018, the value seems to be going up, not down.
This is not excessive miles and the truck appears to be in excellent condition.

I paid 39k even for a 17 SR5 CM TRD off road 4x4, white. Only add ons were bed liner , bed rail system, and chrome exhaust tip. I used toyotas financing 2.9 rate and got 1k rebate. So 38k out the door. I went to my credit union 5 days later and re-fi'd at 1.9.
I used the Costco members buying plan, you have to go through the guy at dealership who's familiar w program otherwise regular sales guy will try n screw you saying he works w it.
They'll bring you out the paperwork on what they pay for the specific vehicle you want and show you another sheet showing what they make off said vehicle. For mine, dealer made $450. No haggling, no back n forth. That price is the price.
We bought my wife's Camry same way. They made $250 off that. Super easy, pretty fast at dealership. I'll never buy a new vehicle the traditional way again.

Wow, sounds pretty good. Makes me feel like I need to look into becoming a Costco member even though I don't have one anywhere close to me.

What was the actual sale price? OTD pricing is subjective due to trade-in values and regional taxes.

That's how I bought my wife's 4Runner. It was very easy and painless. Unfortunately I wanted a pro and there are no incentives or discounts on Pros but I still got a pretty good deal by putting in the time to find it. A lot of time. Haha

I don't think they would stay in business only making $250-450/sale. I know that's what they say. They are making more $$ somewhere else.

The firs time I used the Costco vehicle program was in 01. I bought a boat. It was a great deal. I don't know how Costco works it with dealerships but try it. You may be surprised. Sams club has a similar program.
    Just my experiences with it.

Where are you located? I have gotten the dealer down to $40,149.47 if Toyota Finances. Which I would payoff immediately and finance through my bank.

Got it at Rogers and Rogers in El Centro, ca. They honor the Costco car buying program. Any dealer w the. Costco program should be able to get that price. Get ahold of Costco first and they'll get you to the nearest dealer

Just paid $42k out the door for a Barcelona Red DC in New Jersey. It had 3900 miles on it and is a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle.

Paid invoice for new 17 DC Pro. I wasn't going to travel around the country to try and get a killer deal. Love the turck and it was worth every penny for me. I saw 4 raptors today and no TRD Pro's.

Sorry meant MSRP. Dealer I purchased from didn't mark up Pro's.
