Maybe I should have gone with 295/60R20 but was not sure if they would fit without a lift.

    isnt that less than 33"?

why go with that and get Load E, when there are P rated that are bigger and way lighter or load E that are bigger?

or is that wrong, just curious

Yes, these are the same as 33's

Are 33 inch tires the same as 285?
A lot of people do not know “are 33-inch tires the same as 285”. They assume that two of these metrics are different.

The answer is “yes, it is”. 285 tires refer to the width in millimeters while 33-inch tires allude to diameter.

Nice looking truck! What leveling kit did you end up going with and did it change the ride? Got any shots down the side?

Method 707 17x8.5 +25 Beadgrips going in soon with some 37/12.5/17 wildpeaks. Wasn’t aware but method ships these with hub centric rings.

So they are tapered and I’d assume it’s saying it works for a hub range of 78mm to 106mm. I don’t know enough about them to say more than that.

EDIT: it’s not a hub range so disregard that. It is indeed for a 78mm hub. Thanks method?

per methods tech support. We don’t need the rings since the wheel is more lug centric but only if you use their extended lugs. I’ll getting the rings linked above just to be safe.

I’m assuming those will only work with Method Wheels? Was looking for some for Fuel Rebel 6

I'm planning to hyperdip my black TRD wheels to a bronze color, and want to cover the lug nuts and not dip that part. What size are the lug nuts if I bought lug nut covers?

Nothing really. It’s why I like 18s. Best of both worlds. More sidewall will def be smoother riding and I guess the bigger wheel guys can say better handling.

To answer your question it’s all about looks when it comes down to it and what you like..Makes it fun picking. It’s personnel preference.
Off roaders will usually always pick more tire size. Street trucks tend to pick more rim size…
    Did I mention I like 18s
    best of both worlds LOL

you want more sidewall for flex in off road conditions (contact patch can grab more traction on irregular terrain)

less side wall flex for better handling in pavement conditions (bigger flat contact patch enable better accel, cornering, decel)

nhra drag slicks dont count in this discusssion :) cause it throws both of those statements out the window

Hi Everyone. I am switching my wheels from the stock 20" wheels to the TRD PRO 18" wheels. Anyone has a good recommendations for what tires to buy? I'm looking for comfort, durability and upsizing on the width. Thanks in advance

    We’ll changed the flares
Haven’t decided if I like it yet lol
Not pulling them off so I’ll wrap them flat black if I decide I don’t
Def looks cleaner but my 3 inch lift looks smaller now lol.
    Decisions decisions
