Well hopefully the deal you got on them was worth the bit of hassle. Glad to hear they were delivered!

I will be testing that theory out this summer with some Goodyear tires for the Lexus. DT said they would price match.

As for the shipping, I had them delivered to my local FedEx store. They were very persistent that 4 tires were taking up space. :D

I emailed their customer service and asked about submitting a quote to match. Got a response the next day and a call from the local shop's Mgr the same day. This is why I like doing business with DT.

That's good to hear. Would be nice if they just offered that pricing from the get go.

They're gonna shoot for as much as they can get as is any other business. If people don't ask, they won't receive, right? You miss 100% of the time you never try.

I just bought a set for the subbie trough Priority Tire which I think is the same whare house. They sent them strapped as sets of two so they would not get singled out or separated during shipping. Ordered on Thursday last week and Here yesterday, on the car last night...

So I didn’t pull the trigger when this code was active but I just got an email with a personalized 10% off code I was able to stack onto another 10% off code they had going on the wildpeaks. I’m guessing bc I was building carts of tires and never ordered anything. Got 5 Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws, 37x12.50R17LT E rated for $368 a piece. Regularly $460. (Free shipping too)

I did not. I used to buy them but after like 4 sets of tires, I stopped. Watch this be the time I could’ve used them.

Well, color me unimpressed. Instead of getting a shipping notification, my order was cancelled. This was the message.
    IMG_6757.png

So, their screw up and instead of honoring the purchase they cancel the order. They did offer me a 5% off coupon as a mea culpa

Me either. I sent them a nasty message, but since the transaction was cancelled I can’t leave feedback on eBay.

The only way they can control their ratings. Not a fan of eBay and have not bought from there in years. I do not like the new management like not sending my wife her money she got from an auction for $205. They wanted her to fill out a form claiming the money telling her it is now the law. The law is anything $600 or more but she still has not gotten her money and it has been 2 months.

Man that sucks about the tires. I am ready to pull the trigger but from the searching it does not matter where I buy them from they are all the same price to the penny and of course they all Price Match those tires. Hearing these stories is making me very cautious

Anyone order from Priority Tire on eBay? I may just use Tire Rack instead.

I heard Discount Tire bought Tire Rack but that was a few years ago. Wonder if the deal fell through

I will eat my own words here.
ST was $0.43 cheaper than DT, but Walmart.com was hella $65.99 cheaper PER TIRE! (Those are for my wife's Honda Pilot)
    Simple Tire
    Discount Tire (https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/pirelli-scorpion-weatheractive/p/124169)
    Walmart.com
So if the price match goes through, I be saving $263.96 per 4 tires...
Same as I did last time for the Tundra tires. DT does come through big times, most of the times.
