I too learned the hard way.. It was like a bomb went off, it was unreal. That is when I learned even if wifey says 'do it' it means you sure as hell better not do it..

needless to say with extreme embarrassment... a return happened  lost my balls after that return

I hate people who do that crap. If you say do it then don't get pissed when they do. that's crap. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with that

my wife has medium knowledge about the workings of cars. however, she has a very highly tuned bullshit meter. so if you try to pull one over on her, she will call you out on it.

in all fairness to my wife, she is a very giving person and, if I am honest with her, there is almost nothing that I cannot do (truck-wise or whatever). I can tell her what I want to do and how much it will cost and, after a little sticker shock, she usually agrees to it and then I can save for it. she absolutely hates to be lied to, so I have found that complete honesty is the way to go with her :) that being said, however, spending $8k on a super charger might be a tough sell :)

if I just came home with a super charger, she would be like o_O then she would be like :quickdraw:and then I would be like :bananadead: but also I would be like :burnrubber:

I bought a toyota certified tundra with a SC. My girl was like "whats the trd thing do"? I told her it makes it awesome and She was cool with it. Our finances are, and always will be separate. Having said that, I dont think I could justify dropping $10k CAD after buying a truck without rolling it into financing.
My truck and my girl are pretty awesome :)

First of all my wife is totally awesome and she would be way down for a super charger and if we got the cash cool. But I will always check in first because I made a lot of dumb ass decisions in the past and I'm really not interested in lighting unnecessary fuses. Some may ask do you miss your balls. Nope. But I really really love my mammacita! And she'll take excellent care of my balls. Happy wife. Super happy life. Rock on mammacita :headbang::headbang:
