Not enough, apparently...yet. This damn forum...
We have bike lanes almost every where but there is that select few special folks that think their 20# bike is equal to a 3000#+ vehicle and in the middle of the road. I understand share the road but a lot of cyclists here don’t understand this and think and act like they don’t have to follow the same rules. Keeps fire and EMS busy though.

Not to mention those bikes cost around $5-6k+

Every time I hear of some bicyclist getting hit I always say “not shocked!”.

Every 2, 3, or 4-wheeled “means of conveyance” on the road has to have lights, blinkers, license plate, brake lights, etc to be compliant, and they’re the only ones that can run outside of those laws.

I try never to go into traffic unless I am making a left turn for that reason. Also why i wear a motorcycle class helmet instead of a foam bicycle helmet. People are way too dumb to gamble a head injury.

This irritates me. Not @Mrs. WBW's fault. This is on her Ford Fusion.

These tires aren't even 9 months old. Costco Road Hazard will prorate the replacement tire. I think the tread depth new is 10/32" and it is now 8.5/32". Do I bite the bullet and purchase the other tire on that axle to have the same rotational speed for the tires on that axle or let the small difference exist?

Damn that thing is massive. I would replace both tires only if you can use the other tire as a spare. If you already have a spare that is in good shape and not too old or brittle, I would just replace the one tire. I really dont think that slight difference in tread dept will matter. If your worried about run the new tire at lower psi lol

This car has the micro spare. A full sized spare won't fit in the trunk. I just tried to fit the blown tire and wheel in there. That was a no-go. I could keep the good tire from the other side, should I replace both tires, and store it in plastic in case this happens again.

Commercialization of the southwest. I understand they're tourist traps, but let people enjoy the views without panhandlers harassing em. The bead sellers ignored me because i looked homeless, and had a pretty big dog, but i seent em. Granted some of the old folks were happy, and probably enjoyed the experience. And everyone needs to stfu so you can listen to the colors of the wind.

Isn't that a pisser, buying new tires then getting a flat almost immediately. That looks repairable though, I would guess. Yeah, that would annoy me too.

Unfortunately, the metal rod was 3/8" diameter and anything greater than 1/4" is deemed unrepairable. The good news is Costco prorated the replacement tire so I didn't have to eat the whole cost and the tire was so new I only needed a single tire.

Duct tape fixes everything! I truly laughed out loud!

Employers. They are all pressure cookers, speed up, they are never happy with production. It’s like this everywhere along with most pay is just enough to get buy. They aren’t paying us 6 figure salaries. Then comes health problems for the employees because of this stress, high blood pressure, heart attacks. This sucks.

Trying to squeeze all the juice. This new style of micromanagement of tracking every second of an employee’s moves really sucks. I hear about those stories of Amazon workers barely having time to go to the bathroom. A billionaire like Bezos could hire 50% more employees in the warehouse and it wouldn’t effect him financially, but he chooses to use the least amount of employees at a breakneck speed of production rate so he can make a few more dollars. Disgusting.

Gotta get that passive income going. Put a cotton candy machine or kiddie rides in a mall, or buy some land and scrape out a dirt bike track and charge people to use it. High yield savings accounts are paying out 4.5%, which is pretty dang good.

When there are two turning lanes, people who turn in one then immediately change to the other lane.

what if there is a lane which can turn or go straight, and there is an onramp on the other side of the intersection such that the lane generates lines of straight moving vehicles? Would it then be acceptable for someone who desires access to that right lane to violate the law when no officer is present?

Last I checked cars were supposed to yield to pedestrians already in the crosswalk not those walking out in front of coming traffic. We just need to start thumping a few of the misinformed ignoramuses in front of the local Walmart.

Yes, that would be the exception but I rarely see it happen at those types of intersections. Or it happens the other way - the person turning blocks the through lane then wants the left lane anyway.

Here you have to yield to pedestrians waiting to cross at a crosswalk too, as far as I understand it.

This stupid handle won't come off my hose. Tried an adjustable wrench and a plumbers wrench twisting opposite directions and just snapped off part of the handle.

Probably need to cut the end of the hose off and put a new end on. Any suggestions?
