Really contemplating a dryer if anything to keep the windows from getting water spots. I've busted my butt on water spot removal and I'm tired of it.

Leaf blower works great! That said, big shop vac would likely also be just as good as the unit above, but you would also have a vac for the cost and storage space. Just my .02.

I'd have to rig up a filter as I wouldn't wanna blow dirty air onto a newly washed truck. Also, the detailing dryers blow warm/hot air...

You know those dryers are basically just K9 grooming dryers re-branded, right??? You may be able to save some $$ just by searching for a quality grooming dryer; same hoses, same settings, same portability!!! Most of them you can turn heat on or off and vary fan speed

There are complaints that the hose is too long and the output velocity is lackluster. What do you say?

It's highly effective for blowing out a dog's under coat and loose hair prior to a bath (and of course drying and loose hair removal after)... Sorry, not trying to re-direct the thread, it just seemed like the detailing dryers were a bit pricey for what they were and wanted to offer up some other options.

They are pricey! I use grooming gloves to brush my dog's fur out. They work like a charm and he loves it

Not sure on that for me. Granted, my vehicle is ceramic coated so it expels water a little easier

Like I said I love mine. A must to blow the water out of my scs wheels. It won't make a F-15 lift off but it does good. I bought mine a few years ago on black Friday. Not sure what I paid but worth it to me

I can use my shopvac (big one) without the canister, so the only thing would be maybe rinse out the hose prior to blowing. That said, warm air, uhh Texas?? JK! Then, how is the above model not going to eventually also accumulate dust in the hose, intake, fan, etc. Is the intake filtered on it? I just can't justify another thing that basically does what I have already, but in this case it obviously isn't about me. Just thought I'd throw it your way and try to help you save a few $$$. You do you neighbor, it's all good! I have my own opposite problem with extra soft water. Gotta spend quite a bit on calcium to harden it for perfect balanced pool water. Damn third world problems!!

It does have an intake filter but I just don't like that price tag and less than stellar reviews.

Pool water? Some of us need a pool for the water!
