bike hauling tailgate pads

    this dang forum spends more of my $. i think a tailgate pad would be slick as heck for short trip hauls to our local bike trail. who has one of these and what brand? i'd like to pick one up for my wife and i's bikes. use the carrier for longer hauls or if i need my bed.

    what do you have and where did you get it from.

    Older thread but I'll chime in. The new RaceFace pad is awesome. Had a Dakine prior to this. The RaceFace is a far superior pad. It has individual bike blocks, end blocks, a 2nd layer pad on the front the keep the forks further away from your paint/bumper. I use it to haul everything from my Giant Trance SX to my Giant Revolt and everything in between. Carry them on long and short trips, they never move.,

    I don't have a pic right now but you can find it tons of places online.

    thanks for reply. i ended up buying a race face. used a few times and im happy with it also for anyone else considering.

    Is your backup camera obstructed? The flap looks pretty small.
