Could do either one. Use good oil/filters, change both every 5k and I don't think it’ll ever matter.

275k is a good clip. Why change what you’ve been doing?

I am at 290k on mine. Had bulk 0-20 most of its life at 10-11 k intervals.

I do 7500 now and still using a bunch of 0/5-20 rotella gas truck I picked up on clearance.

when I run out I’ll probably use a good euro rated 0-30 off the shelf from Walmart.

If not burning/losing oil, I wouldn’t add any additive, but I would start putting in high mileage oil. If you are losing oil and it’s not a leak, determine if the loss is through combustion or worn valve stems to determine what additive to use.

I switched from Amsoil 5w-30 to LiquiMoly Molygen 5w-30 and man does the truck start easier and run smoother.
It was not running bad or hard to start to begin with.
I don’t have nearly as many miles as you.
My last change was at 100k. I sent the Amsoil that was in there from 95k-100k to Blackstone and the oil was fine.
I have about 1200 miles left before I am at 105k and I will send the LiquiMoly off to Blackstone to see if there are any differences.

Was thinking of trying liqui-moly myself. FCP euro carries it and has that lifetime guarantee which equates to free oil.

Kind of. They are only doing store credit now and PayPal has stopped doing free return shipping so in the end it costs about $20 to ship the oil back.

Very happy with LiquiMoly Molygen in both my trucks.
Just swapped the gear oil over to LiquiMoly as well.

Yeah been reading about that change. I don't mind paying for shipping and i think it could be worth it. But as i understand essentially you will have to pay for two oil changes before they become "free". I.E. buy first oil, use it, buy another, send old oil back for store credit for third oil change.

I sent them an email about using their warranty for non euro vehicles. I see you have to put the vehicle on the return form. I don't want to assume they will allow a warranty for non euro cars since it is a euro store afterall

Correct it comes out to two purchases before it is technically free.
I have about 1500 mile left before I order my 2nd round of engine oil for the Tundra and just did the first purchase for the Suburban last week.
I did gear oil too but I swap that every 50k but May back that down to every 25k if the returns go smoothly.

For things like oil it does not matter what it goes in. Other parts that they sell like brake pads and the like they don’t stock for Tundras or other makes.
They record the VIN so they know the length of time since you purchased the product to make sure you are actually using the product to the extent it is supposed to be used.
My buddy who told me about the program gets the oil for his Subaru from them And has no issues with the returns and has been doing for years since before they switched to just store/site credit.
