Searched but could not find anything here, so trying with a new thread.

Have a 2015 that I bought used in March of this year. Love it. Wish I had bought Tundra sooner in my life!

I am getting tired of pulling out the keys to lock/unlock my snugtop shell and tailgate. Going to get and install the pop&lock for the tailgate.

Any advice on the shell lock? I see snugtop has some options. Which one? Also, any aftermarket?

    thanks!

The OEM Power tailgate lock is plug and play and a super easy install. Then I used the wires in the tailgate to tap into for the topper, I have a leer but Im sure the pop and lock kit is similar for the snug top. Definitely is worth it, love locking everything with one click.

@Joe333x - for the shell did you buy from Lear or 3rd party? You mentioned pop and lock, but when I mentioned them I meant for the tailgate, not the shell hatch. Thanks!

I used the OEM kit from Toyota and then bought the Pop&Lock kit. This is the kit I used for the cap Pop & Lock PL9555 Keyless Remote Entry Kit (with Handle), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00COJWSK0. This is the kit I used for the tailgate https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-tailgate-power-lock-standard-wheelbase-pk3b634js0

Well, finally getting around to doing this mod but the Toyota tailgate lock recommended is for 2019 and newer. I have a 2015.

Anyone have any suggestions? I will be checking with PopLock to see if they have one for 2015 that is close to plug and play.
