I’ve always been a Tacoma guy but after building a family and totaling my Tacoma in September, it was time to upgrade! I got this brand new on October 2nd. I couldn’t bring myself to pay the price tag on some of the better models but I am ABSOLUTELY happy with my decision on this truck.

I’ve only done the basic stuff, wheels, tires and a lift.. but let me tell you, those 3 mods will CHANGE your truck. The mechanic said, “boy, you went from Grandpa to a single man”

    Lift: RC 3.5” Suspension Lift

    Tires: Toyo Open Country MT
    35x12.50R18

    Wheels: Method 705 18x9

I did add some of the lettering inserts to it on the front bumper/tailgate and that alone made a huge difference!

I’m happy to finally be apart of the Tundra family!

We need to see more SR builds! With some more color matched white bits in the front end, it'll look even better

Which RC kit did you use. The spacer one or the full coil over and struts. Also did you have to do upper control arms and all too ?

    thanks

My SR is the same as the OP’s first picture.

I would’ve thought the thread would be a little more active. Maybe you should change the title to “3rd Gen SR builds” lol.

Looks great. Looking at a similar setup. Did you get the 705s with +18 offset?

That looks good! I just bought a 23 SR5 and this is what I want my truck to look like.

Question though; is the SR trim a little lower than other trims, or is it the picture angle?
