Light pods in tow mirrors? Why not!

    So here's a little fun project i started. I briefly had some floodlights installed on the hood (as you do - mounted to hood hinges) shooting off to sides, as that's where I have the least visibility. However right light's pattern was heavily obstructed by the hood if skewed only a bit, and by the snorkel if skewed further to the side. So why not tow mirrors? I found these Hellas - they have a somewhat unconventional size of 2.7". And they fit almost perfectly. Here is where I got so far - I'll update as I go.
    and yeah - go flame me for zipties (there are strips double sided tape involved too) ;)
