    2007 tundra TRD
Hello all I am new to the form.
My Name is Ben I live in Ontario Canada and I own 2007 Tundra TRD I purchased in 2015. At the time I was looking for a Chev or Ford Pickup to replace my 96 Chev P/U which I bought used and drove for 15 years.
I sort of stumbled on this Tundra while looking at a used vehicle with my son at a Toyota dealer and decided to check it out. The truck was in mint shape and I felt comfortable in it the minute I sat in it. Then I took it for a drive. I was pretty much sold before I left the lot and the further i drove it the more I knew I was going to buy it.
I drove this truck to Nova Scotia one year and from there down to Boston and home and the ride and comfort was amazing. The only Vehicle I ever owned that was more comfortable was my 1964 Citroen DS19. The down side was the fuel economy, There wasn't any, it is one thirsty truck. So far I have only replaced the starter on it (hope I never have to do that again) when you go from a 20 minute starter swap on a GM to a 14 hour swap on a tundra it is not fun, still love the truck though. Bad as the fuel millage is I did notice it did not get much worse when pulling a trailer weighing in at about 8,000 lbs.
