Diamondback bed cover. Running boards. Kenwood amp with 4 memphis audio speakers in the doors!
So my 2021 TRD pro didn't come with blindspot sensors. Is there a way to add this or maybe an aftermarket substitute?

Pro’s don’t need blind spot monitoring :anonymous:…per Toyota

None of the Pro’s have this as an option -only comes on Platinum/1794 trims to my knowledge. Same goes for cooled seats

I'm glad my Pro doesn't have it. One less electric gizmo to break.

Didn’t mean to be misleading…the Platinum and 1794 come standard equipped. The Pros don’t have it as standard or as an option package like some of the other trims.

I’d rather they included BSM in place of some of the other gimmicky TSS features…seems like an odd omission

All that TSS junk could’ve been omitted in my opinion.

Damn, we have bsm and parking sensors as standard for pros in Canada.

Check @RainMan_PNW thread on harness, perhaps there's a way to add them.

I love the BSM on mine as they add another layer of safety for a big truck that doesn't have awesome blind spot visibility. SR5 with tech package.

I added it to mine. It’s an involved process, but it can be done. @Jim LE 1301 linked the post in my build thread.

FWIW, I love having them. Between the big ass tow mirrors and the BSM/RCTA, and the front and rear anytime camera, I have no blind spots

Yep, I hated the BSM in my 2020 GMC AT4. All sorts of buzzers and vibrations, very high tech, but they dulled my driving senses. That and the 360 cam, it was just too much going on. The front facing cam is great, but everything else wasn't for me.

Anyone know if there's a way to see if a truck has Tech Pkg or BSM through the VIN?

My 2014 Platt has it, I'm buying another and I want to be sure it has it, but I want to go down to a DoubleCab

So this is technically not true, if you ordered a Pro from Canada you have BSM and rear cross traffic alert. I have them on mine. Funny enough im getting high clearance pre-runner bumpers and taking that stuff off.

The Canadian “Pro” were built/setup a bit different than the US ones due to a variety of import and Canadian transportation differences. They are technically an SR5 in Canada with an option package, so some of them had other differences as well.

Does yours have the auto AC climate controls and integrated seat heaters, or are your seat heaters an aftermarket looking button? I’ve seen some Canadian trucks where the seats heaters are port-installed and look like aftermarket setups. There’s also the metric speedometer (though it’s only the dials, since all the digital stuff can be switched either way).

My truck as integrated seat heaters with what look like OEM switches to me. Give me a minute to run out to my truck and photograph them. I bought the truck in Kentucky, so the settings were changed before I got the vehicle but ya I can switch it to Kilometers/hour if I want.
