    Hello all...

I've been a member over at TacomaWorld for a long time, but just sold my 07 TRD OR when I acquired a 2006 Land Cruiser. I know there is a bit of commonality, especially with the 4.7's, and thought this may be a good forum to join.

I'm also looking for a set of Rock Warrior wheels. I see I just missed a set here in TX(Houston, but I'm just outside of Ft. Hood in Harker Heights and would've made the drive) that was posted a couple weeks ago and was hoping I could post a "WTB" post in the "Wheel and Tires" marketplace. I don't know if the number of my TW posts may meet the post # requirement for posting in the Marketplace.

Either way, thanks for having me around.

Jim...I'm a Cerakoter/FFL 07, let me know if there is anything I can help you out with. All of my dad's side of the family is a bit west of you in Buffalo. My uncle Tommy and family race Camaro dragsters.

    ColoradoTJ..."I drink...and I know things." is amazing..lol

2006, Non-AHC, 170K miles, CA/TX life(so no rust). Seems like it wasn't taken very good care of, but it's not terrible. Pretty much all BJ's and boots need to be replaced, at a minimum.

Paint is terrible. I was told the paint was bad, but not that it was a shitty complete re-spray. I'm still trying to figure out why it had a re-spray. Looks like all of the metal is original(still has all of the VIN tags). I think someone may have had it sprayed because the original clear was going south, and the shop just did a terrible job.

I miss my Taco....I had a SnugTop camper shell on for a few years and realized that a SUV fit my needs better(never had to pull the shell to use the bed).

Why did you decide to get rid of the LC?

I had a 95 FJ80 for 20+ years and almost half a million miles, before giving it to my wife. It really wasn't the best runaround vehicle for her with two kids and 11mpg ,sooo... We turned it into a Highlander and that is far better suited for that task.
