CG Hex Quantum pads are decent.....I used the HexLogic Quantums for a few years and they performed pretty well

 

I bought a couple of the 3 packs with the cleaning solution on Amazon a few years back and have been relatively pleased with how they hold up as compared to cost. Since doing the Color N Drive ceramic coating on the Expedition over a year ago, I haven't felt the need to polish it, so they are mostly just collecting dust. The Tacoma, on the other hand, needs a little love.

 

Picked up 2 bottles of Turtle Wax Ice Seal'n'Shine. I know it's not the latest and greatest out there, but it works well and they were $2.65 apiece @ Advance. Found that you have to order online to get that price, though.

 

I just grabbed a McCullough Steamer mod. MC-1270 portable power steamer, with all accessories, off e-bay for 99.00/ free ship. The ad said it was an open box but there is no way it was ever opened, thing is pristine. Can't wait to try it out on my interior.

 

More 303 goodness. Looking forward to trying out most of this stuff.

When I'm drying my truck, the first thing I go for is all the glass so's to avoid water spots. I hate em. I've had to use plenty of elbow grease and spot remover to address them before. The absorber I use leaves water trails behind.

I got the squeegee to see if I can eliminate anything left behind and so far so good.

 

I've used the absorber back in the day and learned quickly i didn't like how it dried...or how it didn't.
I've been using these 2 and have really like them. I'm more partial to TRC's The Gauntlet though.

In a sense, it is right in front of me....good ole' online orderin'. I've been really impressed with their stuff, so wanted to try out some of the new lineup.

 

ONR NoRinse, 2 of the largest Gauntlet drying towels from the Rag Company, Geon's Wet - to enhance the ceramic coating.

 

Got me a $12 wash bucket

 

That's a 5.00 bucket with a 7.00 Meguiars decal

 

Do yourself a favor....invest in Griots PFM towels....pricy but worth it. The Rag Companys Gauntlet are a close second to these, and are available in more sizes...and cost less

I've got more money tied up in the grit guard inside the bucket than i do my wash/rinse buckets

Add a little Norinse (ONR or one of the other similars) to the water to make it dry better and not leave spots.

 

I use a power washer.

Griots PFM towels are expensive....but there's a reason for that.....they're worth it. Far and away the best drying towel I've used....and I've used quite a few. The Gauntlet by The Rag Company is a fairly close second, and considerably less expensive. I own both.....in various sizes. I've never bought the PFMs unless they were on sale.

 

Also using Griots PFM drying towel extra large.
First truck wash there was sitting water on top of the tonneau cover, and used the towel in that area to soaked up all the water.
I was disappointed that the towel couldn't dry the entire truck after that. Blame it on user error lol
Next truck wash use a extended squeegee to remove the sitting water first, then the Griots PFM XL towel was able to dry the entire truck.
Those with HYBRID hood scoop emblem make sure to dry in one direction or it will snag the towel, did this a couple time. Overall please with the PFM towel.

Decided to see if these are any good....Harbor Freight foam cannons.....so far...pleasantly surprised
