New in WA (Wife made me do it)

Hey all!

I took my 07 Tacoma to the dealer yesterday for some repairs.... and I'll be damned if I didn't leave with a 17' Tundra Limited TRD off road haha. I took a new 1794 for a ride and fell in love with that leather, but as soon as my wife showed up she reminded me that I'm not a rancher haha. She pointed to the TRD which the dealer had modified and said "Isn't this more your style". Uh yeah but it's like 7k more. Never had that happen before. So that's the story.

About me; I live in Southwest Washington. I'm a huge truck lover. The Tundra is currently my second truck that I own at the moment with a 1950 Chevy 3100 being the other.

I'm also a big motorcycle lover.

"I went to the dealer for ________ and ended up in this Tundra......." This might be one of the most common stories i hear about any vehicle, but very much so with Toyotas! I have the same story

haha. Well after 13 years, and a multitude of money spent modding and eventually selling... she knows haha. She knew if I bought one the dealer had already modded I'd be less likely to start spending big bucks on it haha. I'm only going to do a few small things to this one. Like a Tonneau, thinking of the BAK Revolver, order that damn O sh!t handle for the drivers pillar, and other smaller things.

 

Yeah it seems to always happen that way doesn't it?

I need to be happy with this one for quite a while. It's definitely the most expensive rig I've bought. A close second is the Wifes 4Runner.

 

I actually saved money by going from my Gen 3 Tacoma to this in less than 11 months after i bought the Taco. That would make this the second most expensive but BY FAR the best of all my trucks
