To do sliders or not... that is the question...

I've had these SDHQ sliders sitting in storage for probably close to 2 years now. I got a deal on them, had them powder coated then put them in storage because I have just been busy ever since. I am still up in the air about them but they sucked to put on. Moving a gas tank to put sliders on...First and last time I will ever do that. Will post more pics tomorrow of both sides. This was after I got the passenger side done and was deciding to take it back off and sell them. Still thinking about it lol.

I like them. Not sure I have a 14 but if you had to move the tank ever thought of upgrading to a 38 gallon while your at it. That’s what I did. Love the build

To me sliders are a must-have. It only takes one situation where you need them for them to be worthwhile. You can get some seriously expensive damage without sliders.

No clearance issues with 12.5" wide tires on RW's and the UCA's? Do you have a picture of the UCA to tire clearance?
I have SPC's right now but want to run 12.5" tires, and pretty sure that I need new upper arms or spacers.

You need to run 1.25 spacers with RW wheels and 37's. no rubbing issues here

    Too many, but not enough....
Agree 100%. I have had my sliders on 6 months and they already paid for themselves. Was up at 3am for overtime and pulled into the gas station barely awake, took a turn to sharp and my sliders kickout "corrected" my course and prevented the concrete protection post at the pump from destroying my rear driver door and the front of my bed. Slider didnt even have a scratch.

my sliders are nice. they just might not be my fav. I have always been a fav of the most minimal sliders possible. Kinda funny because I always thought that the SDHQ sliders were the most minimal tundra sliders out there. What I am a huge fan of the TMJ sliders for the tacoma's. It's like its almost not there.

No better setup IMO than Rock Warriors with 37's. Perfect amount of OEM+

I love your truck. I’m selling raptor to build something very close to what you have done with yours. I was searching around Google for tundras and saw a Google image of your truck and clicked on it and found it here in the forum.
