Should buy one of these Bully Dog programmers I just need to know does it actually give you on the performance side about how much horsepower gain do you get and on the Eco side about how many miles per gallon saving do you get

Let me start over. I am wondering if buying a bully dog programmer will allow me to tune the truck for more horsepower while in town, but whenever I take a road trip I can move it to economy method to get more miles to the gallon.

You're suppose to be able to change tunes whenever you want to, but I guess with our tundras you have to have it hooked up to a battery charger, that way the battery doesn't loose juice while the tune is changing.. spoke to a bullydog rep ans if the battery drops below 12 it can ruin the computer in truck.. so have it hooked up while doing it..
